Jamarcus Russell is definitely smarter than Tebow.

NFL teams spend just as much and waste more time on worse qb's, but they are just shutting him down because he's too much of a distraction. If that part of the equation was gone, teams wouldn't have a problem signing him.

or it's because he's dumb as a rock and can't remember plays.

or because he's absolute garbage at the QB position

Among the problems NFL teams have identified about Tebow, according to the report, are that he has a hard time remembering plays, he didn’t run the offense well and got the Broncos flagged for delay of game too often, he struggled to read defenses and he didn’t have the self-awareness to know what he wasn’t doing well and work on improving those issues.

kige.

definitely wasn't his fault that ESPN thought he was the biggest story in football during the 2011 season.

only to be followed up by being traded to a media heavy environment in New York.

The real injustice, IMO, was done my McDaniels. Had Tebow been drafted later, and had he been able to ride the pine and get groomed without any pressure, I think he would have turned out OK.

Yep.

McDaniels is total arse-clown.

He drafted a player like it's 1958 and nobody has any evidence and scouting on players actual abilities.

"He's just a winner!" - Sounds like when Terry Baker was drafted #1 as QB even though he couldn't throw the damn all - just because he won the Heisman running the single-wing.

What kind of modern NFL coach falls for that Gator and Heisman hype B.S. that lazy media spouted? He was always fool's gold - only Gator fans believed he was actually good if you wanted to run something beyond a FB dive or stupid simple slant pattern.

Meyer produces some shitty QBs - Smith, Tebow...good luck in the draft Braxton Miller.

Didn't he have some absurdly low SAT score?

I agree. NFL atmosphere combined with the media scrutiny = no shot at success for him in the future IMO.

I just hope he comes out and says this. Then he can have a peaceful life without any scrutiny.

weird cause he has a better qb rating than the jets starter given like an absurd deal a year or so ago.
