had he been able to ride the pine and get groomed without any pressure, I think he would have turned out OK.

I still think this could happen. I just hate to see this happen to any player. It's not his fault that their is a circus following him. Its not like he goes on social media and tv asking for people or ownership to act the way they do when he's on their team. He's getting punished mostly for something that is out of his control.

Tebow wouldnt have been much better with Grooming. He just cant make NFL throws that you need to make to sustain success

I think you got it backwards. It should read "tebows camp privately admits that the NFL is done with me"

Tebow benefited from a defense playing out of its mind for a stretch against some pretty bad teams. his best game was against the god awful vikings

It was an impressive streak by the defense and an even more impressive streak of playing mediorce teams

Then they played the Pats and got demolished...twice

The second one even got rid of one of GCAs alter which ridiculously made a ban bet on him beating the Pats

Yeah, but that game didn't matter in the long run.

They still made the playoffs and he was good enough to turn the Broncos into a respectable 8-8 team after a 1-4 start.

His defenses deserves a lot of the credit for those wins, sure. He still made the plays when it mattered though.

He's got a rocket arm, that is the only advantage he has on tebow. The problem is, Tebow had one year, only one. I think people are so quick to jump on the Tebow sucks bandwagon because that's what's trending right now. I would agree with the masses if he'd been given the amount of time to suck that J-Tuss, Sanchez, Carr, and up until 2010...Alex Smith. Alex Smith is a poster boy for this type of discussion, because everyone on the planet who watches the NFL were killing this guy saying how much he sucks. He has one pretty damn good season under Harbaugh, then he got fricked, now everyone loves him, and hopes for the best.

How can you say that with certainty? He played ONE SEASON, and sat the bench for another playing punt protection.

their defense allowed the 3-13 Vikings to score their highest point total of the year

How many HOF quarterbacks can you name that have had to ride their defense playing out of their minds?

okay? then counter the evidence I'm using to support my opinion instead of arguing just to go against what's trending

Because ive seen him throw before. Sputtered slants, way off target deep balls, a lot of pissed off WRs, not to mention the throws that are more difficult like the comebacks and the out routes. Theres a reason he wont play QB in the NFL before and its not because of the attention he brings.

I cant think of one throw he does WELL from the pocket.

Zero. What exactly is your point?

Teams clearly don't want to be with the circus that comes with having him. To be blunt, there are certainly worse quarterbacks in the NFL.

NFL teams spend just as much and waste more time on worse qb's, but they are just shutting him down because he's too much of a distraction. If that part of the equation was gone, teams wouldn't have a problem signing him.
