If we had replaced Tebow with any other player in the league in this story, not only would all of you accept the story as fact, but you would also have crucified that player for it.
BTW, why aren't you Tebow fanboys bringing up Sanchez's 2009 and 2010 playoff runs, both of which were more impressive than Tebow's body of work?

Should have gone in and audibles to "all streak"

Where do you get I'm a fanboy?
However, considering this story would be diametrically opposite TT's entire professional behavior to this point and those three have griped and bitched to the media in the past, I'm gonna side on the "this story is utter bullshite" team.

not my personal style
But I'll support TT on this one. Jet's bent him over from day one and went in raw, all that BS from camp screw the Jets
but if Tebow really wanted to make a impact he would have left a deuce on Woody's desk

I merely responded to the last post in the thread.

The only thing that would make this whole clusterfrick that much more enjoyable is if Ryan had called Tebow on it, and put his arse in the game anyway.
Yes, the Jets made a bad situation worse, but the story starts and ends with Tebow, a self-made messiah with the throwing motion of a monkey.

Merrill Hodge really hates Tebow on SC right now.

His hate of Tebow is really unprofessional.

He should have handled this situation differently, but all the people saying how he is a phony for being "Team First" need to chill. The guy is HUMAN, not Jesus Christ. He has flaws just like everyone on this planet.

Don't say anything logical.
Seriously, Tebow does one thing that's not 100% perfect and Merril Hodge gets to unprofessionally rip him like I've never seen before on national TV.
The NY Jets do not have a team. They have a narcisistic head coach and an every man for themselves philosphy. Tebow just needs to get the hell away from those lying POS's in NY before he gets injured.
To say he wasn't team first all year is ridiculous. Every man has his breaking point. Just think if you had BROKEN YOUR RIBS for this abomination of an organization.
Good luck to Tebow wherever he goes. I hope he learned something other than bitterness from this.

I see no problem with this. He manned up and finally got tired of the BS. I wouldn't want to run plays for the Jets either after how they did him.

That was one of the most ridiculous commentaries that I have ever heard.
Honestly, I hope he issues an apology. That was truly uncalled for.

Haven't read the thread but Tebow was still getting a check wasn't he? They should fine him for the week's worth.

Something is wrong with Merrill Hodge. His hate for Tebow goes way beyond football. It's either Tim's faith or his persona that Merrill seems to detest.
It is borderline disturbing.

No. If the story is true and a big if at that, then he should be suspended now, maybe even cut.
Considering how much bullshite the Jets have spewed this year, it's hard to believe any of it.

My dad and I were both thinking holy shite this dude is brutal. Hodge is a big time doucher, so I couldn't care less what he thinks.

If true, you should. There is absolutely no justification for a professional athlete to refuse to play.

Completely agree with this. Tebow made a mistake and he should pay for it. But I wouldn't go as far questioning his character and integrity as Merrill Hodge is doing today.
