I don't necessarily disagree with what Tebow did, but my question would be why did he go to the Jets in the first place? Ryan made it clear (at least immediately after the fact) he was not the starter and there was no open competition for the job.
I agree that they messed over him by elevating McElroy, but he should have had no expectation of playing time.

He was fine all season because Coach Fatfrick told him he was the second QB. He had expectations because the Jets had expectations.

More than that he was the 2nd string all year behind clusterfrick Sanchez and they continued to watch Sanchez implode instead of giving Tebow a chance.

He would have been 100% justified to be pissed if he were active against the cardinals, but he wasn't, McElroy came in and showed that he might not suck at passing.
It's a pretty messed up situation, but I understand why the Jets are starting McElroy. He's the only QB that has a chance of returning next year.
