Are we even sure Jacksonville wants to? Imagine the shite show if they draft a QB AND sign Tebow.

Nah. Yall pretend like if people are on Tebow's side that we think he's some sort of All-Pro QB or something, but no one really thinks that. Everyone knows he's limited but yall get your panties in a wad whenever someone mentions anything positive about him. Maybe you're a little bitter for him kicking your team's arse in college?

They're pretty much the biggest afterthought team in the league, they'd probably love a shitshow if it means somebody would talk about them.

You are clueless again. He went there knowing he was the backup and played other positions when asked knowing he was the backup QB, but he gets the shaft when it's time for the backup to play.

The pieces of shite here are the Jets org/coaches.

Oh, and Sid, tell the Steelers he can't throw an acceptable forward pass you dumbass.

Obviously Tebow missed the part of the Bible that requires submission to authority.

Whether he liked the situation or not the Jets have paid him a lot of money. Best way to show them up is to go out and do work. Not act like a two year old.

Whether the Jets fricked him over or not, be an adult about it and handle your business as such. Take it privately to the owners/coaches/front office. If you're not satisfied then push for a trade in the off season or play out your contract.

Uh as shitty as Tebow is as a pro qb, he should take whatever playing time he can get. Should've moved to linebacker anyway.

Uh I'm going to go out on a limb and say, because they pay him to do it. Could just be me though.

And you people wonder why ESPN keeps pimping the Tebow story. You guys eat this shite right up.

The truth is most likely somewhere in between. Tebow probably did ask the coaches to be held out, probably not the best decision, but I doubt he told the Jets to "frick themselves" or anything like these stories seem to be implying.

I agree. He probably asked for more snaps as Mac's backup, not none, but was denied.

Tebow, knowing he is gone regardless, is upset he doesn't get the last 2 meaningless games to show something for his next team. The Jets, knowing the same, went with the player who was largely unknown and will be with the team next year. 2 games that have no meaning for the Jets, they didn't pass him over mid season or anything...

He went to New York because he wanted to be more of a media presence and do commercials. If he wanted to compete for a starting job he should have gone to Jacksonville this year. Gabbert was horrendous in his rookie year and the fans would have pushed for him to start immediately.

And WTF to all the people acting like Tebow has been wronged at any point in this process. FFS he got his shot at Denver when the Broncos bypassed the depth chart to skip Brady Quinn and give him a shot. Why is that just desserts when it means Tebow gets a shot in Denver but a cosmic wrong when the opposite thing happens to him in New York?

Yep, I knew there'd be atleast a 5 pg thread here the second I saw this story.
Im not sure I believe this story, seems out of character for Tebow. He does have a rib injury so maybe he asked to sit for that reason since they're out of the playoff race. No need to risk injury in a meaningless game.
