I mean, shite, they don't even have to play @UGA, they get to play in Jacksonville.

If I was a fan, I'd be slightly annoyed/pissed. I frickin love big OOC games.
Hell, Christmas/Thanksgiving/Birthdays won't get my brother to come back to Ohio to visit, but USC09 and Miami10 sure as hell did.
Personally, I wish Ohio State's OOC schedule was filled with better teams, but I still give credit for tOSU scheduling at least one big OOC game a season.

Id rather see Boise get embarrassed than TCU since Boise is constantly popping off at the mouth
I would too. At least TCU said "anytime, anywhere", Boise wouldn't, period. I truly believe that if TCU had the chance they would play anyone, they wouldn't win, but they'd put up. Boise...ummm, not so much.

I know it's not that big a step, but if TCU means anytime anywhere then should'nt they accept the offer to join the Big Least.

they wanted all of their sports to join the BE

Did you gloss over these? When it's convenient they pull out the anytime, anyplace, anywhere line. When it was time to put up or shut up they chose the easy way out.
Of course...and as you can see, TCU has played nothing but a cup cake schedule ALL season long...they should be embarrased to be considered in the BCS with their schedule.

You can't blame them for that.

In 2006, Didn't UF play an out of conference game in Glendale, AZ?

-- Doug LesmerisesCOLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State's win Saturday sent the Buckeyes to the Rose Bowl. If their schedule this season had worked out differently, the Buckeyes' win may also have sent Texas Christian to the national title game.
In late December of 2007, Ohio State said it had reached a deal to open the 2009 season at home against TCU. Army had recently backed out of a planned series, and the Horned Frogs, coming off an 8-5 season, were set for a one-game trip to Columbus. According to Ohio State, the game had been agreed to but the contract wasn't yet signed.

"I'd say Ohio State really wanted it," TCU associate athletic director Jack Hesselbrock, who handles the Horned Frogs' football scheduling, said last week. "They had an opening and needed an opponent, and I think the fans would have liked it and been intrigued by it."
Hesselbrock said TCU was about 50-50 on taking the game, but certainly talked it over. There were some logistical problems. Virginia was already scheduled for the season opener and according to Hesselbrock, it would not have been easy to shift that game. Also, with TCU's growing success, the Horned Frogs were looking to get away from taking paydays to serve as opponents for BCS schools, as they did with losses to Texas in 2007 and Oklahoma in 2008.
So while they liked the idea of playing Ohio State for the first time since 1973, the program was hoping to move beyond that.
"And Ohio State was not interested in a return here for obvious reasons," Hesselbrock said.

Which side of his arse is he talking out of because TCU's past actions indicate that he's full of shite.
Actually - your actions indicate you are an ignorant jackass. Chris del Conte became TCU's Athletic Director in October 2009 - LOOOOOOOOOOOONG after the schedules mentioned had been finalized.

del Conte is not quoted in the article. The assistant AD is and he was and still is with TCU. Ohio State attempted to ink a deal with TCU in 2007 and TCU wouldn't step up to the plate. del Conte's current statements are nothing but bluster.
TCU has been exposed to be exactly what they accuse everyone else of being. They saw the Ohio State game as a loss and the Virginia game as a win so they chose to take the win.
But since del Conte is now the AD you seem to think that TCU has made a radical change since last November. bullshite.

Talk about throwing stones in a glass house. OSU was notorious for only having to play one or two tough games to get to BCS game. Of course, they got beat pretty bad any time they played speed of USC, LSU, Florida or Texas in regular season or bowl games. One bowl win and a decent Big Ten this year and prez comes out talking shite.
Posted on 11/26/10 at 8:00 am to go ta hell ole miss
Texas barely(shouldn't have) beaten Ohio State in 2005, Ohio State beat them away in 2006. USC beat down Ohio State two years ago, and barely beat us at Home last year. This year we beat Miami soundly.
But yah, we got beaten pretty badly.

Yeah, I love when people group in Texas with that whole "Ohio State, you suck" thing.

You are still missing the point. The 2009 schedule was NOT decided in November of 2009... It was decided in 2008.
So you don't think that a new AD , after 2 years (and a combined regular season record of 22-0), is capable of taking an aggressive stance regarding scheduling?
With the progress TCU's program has been making - The aggressive stance del Conte has taken is closer to "natural progression" than "radical action" IMHO.
