I know i'll be in the minority for saying his, but Jimmie Johnson should have won male athlete of the year. Is funny how easy it is for Tate to call someone not an athlete when he's re-writing the NASCAR history books and setting records. Nobody on that list has won five championships in a row other than Johnson. Just goes to prove how uneducated some people are and those people should stop taking his or her comments to twitter where they might look like an idiot. Tate- youre no Jones-Drew but anytime you want to drive 500 miles in their shoes- you know where to find them. 36 weeks out of the year.

NASCAR is not another sport. If speeding for three hours is considered a sport, I would be a world-class athlete.

if nascar is a sport then anyone who gets behind the wheel is an athlete

I'm not saying NASCAR drivers are athletes, but driving 95 on an open road is NOT even similar to what they do.

Not even close. It is way more taxing on your body than you'd think.
Not saying they are athletes, but it is much tougher than people realize.

it was mainly the comma, signifying that pause that rednecks love to use before denoting time

I'm not a fan of NASCAR, but that was easy.

do you think jimmy johnson can dunk a basketball?

I'm just saying, a picture doesn't show too much. When I think athlete, I think Patrick Peterson freak of nature type.
Lester, he (Cody) dunked when he was younger. I bet there's been a couple NASCAR drivers that could do that. Hell, one guy does a flip off his car.

Fwiw, it still proves my point that looks can be deceiving because he's a huge fatass and still athletic; however, hitting the crossbar really isn't that big a deal when you're 6'3" and have a decent wingspan. The thing is only 10 feet high.
