I think MJ would have beaten the Mavs, which would give him one more, but 2016 championship would not be a given how good the Warriors were and how close it was (the block) from being a Warriors victory anyways.
I think LeBron would have one less than Jordan did with the Bulls and Jordan may have one more than LeBron had in his career with Cavs and Heat.

Different eras
LeBron is a freak in year 15 of his career against better players
He would have been almost invincible if he played in the 80s and 90s
this....also the shite MJ did off the court wouldn't fly in today's world with social media etc. He would be done
Lebron got roasted and toasted for making a "decision"....just imagine TMZ stories of MJ gambling the night away and frickin around with hookers etc in Atlantic City

Lebron teams in Miami were much more talented than Jordan’s. Barely squeezed 2 rings out of that

Anyone who runs this hypothetical without bias realizes that LBJ comes up roses far more readily than MJ.

I don't deal in hypotheticals only facts and the fact is only one of the 2 lead one of the greatest comebacks in the history of basketball. And that would be Michael Jordan over the monstars. #neverforget

no, he got roasted for being a dickjaw
. No one would of given half a frick if he just signed with Miami.
He decided to be an attention whore, and he took a ton of shite.

Roids Lebron doing much better than the roids in Jordans time.

disagreed, game was insanely more physical and it was accepted during Jordan's era. I agree talent wasn't as tough but the style was WAY tougher and LBJ hates contact. They would have gotten in his head nonstop

It's pretty much a no-brainer for me.
LeBron- Six titles
Jordan- Four titles (Three that LeBron won plus 2011)

Lebron would have zero, and Jordan would have zero, purely based on position, and attitude. Lebron would have been matching up with some of the best defenders that have ever played the game, and Jordan would have been a 6'6 shooting guard, almost every team in the league has one of those now, where as in the 90s he was lengthy for his position and had high release point. Lebrons game would have gone a different direction due to the times pushing him to be more of a post player and not the first option all the time and he would have bounced around the league because when he doesn't win he isn't loyal. and 90s ball players were loyal.

Lebron would have 6, MJ would have 4 (Mavs)

How many championships would each have if they just switched careers?
LeBron probably wins more, you give LeBron Pippen, Horace Grant, Cartwright, Rodman and wing players like Kerr, Paxson, Kukoc, and Hodges in conjunction with Phil Jackson and Tex Winter as coach you likely have a dynasty for 6+ years.
You put Michael in LeBron's situation, you likely won't be able to have D-Wade and Kyrie on the team because they both share the same offensive approach to the game and therefore likely create a conflict that could hinder team progress. Because Mike's such a driven and ambitious player, he probably elevates the teams he's on to 4 titles but probably not more if he's playing Pop and the Warriors, those are all-time great TEAMS not collections of talent, one great player rarely defeats a great team often so I believe this would apply logically to Jordan here.

Jordan would have less titles than LeBron has gotten.
LBJ would have less titles than MJ got.
This is a silly hypothetical for multiple reasons including:
1) Different Eras
2) Different officiating
3) Super teams were more normal back then (see Celtics/Lakers of the 80's and 90's early).
Most of all, both play different positions and roles on their teams. LeBron mitigates the value of Pippen on those Bulls teams since they become redundant, and have no legitimate start shooting guard.
Jordan on any of LeBron's teams loses what he brings to the table and becomes redundant with Wade and Irving.
These types of switches only work when looking at players with similar styles.
Now, a flip of Kobe with MJ, and that's more interesting. Lakers win more titles while Bulls win less. Kobe is a great player, but not near the defender or ball handler Jordan was, but both would compliment their respective new teams in that scenario.

He was on a good team sure but the Bulls didn’t have lunch and decide to all take shorter contracts to allow them to come together. As soon as Melo took a max deal and Bosh/Wade/Safety Pin took 3 years everyone knew what was coming.
They won 55 games without him. The bulls were a 3rd seed without jordon

You realize there were less teams in the NBA when Jordan's era went through, high school players were just starting to be allowed into the NBA again, and the physicality of the game changed. Furthermore, free agency rules changed at that point as did many salary cap rules.
You can't compare those eras. Also, MJ had a HOF coach during his run. LeBron's best coach to date has been Spoelstra.
