The halftime show was about money, like everything the NFL does. They want to put a franchise in Mexico, so Latin performers draw more eyes to the game in Mexico and create more fans there.

Not only do a lot of people fail to understand that Puerto Rico is a US territory, I am pretty sure there are a lot of idiots that think Puerto Rico is in Mexico.

Was Gloria Estafen not available? Wasn't her entire career Super Bowl halftime shows?
And for people saying it's the worst, they never saw Up With People...and would've shite their pants and that liberal love-fest...and Up With People played the SB 3 times I think. It was like a hippie commune dancing on stage but with clothes on.
