I never claimed he didn't cost us a game. You're so mad you're straw mannin'. My point to skullmad after he brought up value shopping was that we pay our coach a fraction of what Les Miles earns - and yet it's been 0-2 in the last two years on that ROI for Les. Sorry for winning.

I'm not mad. At all, actually. LSU will be a pre season top 10 team, with a shot to win a title.

Ummm, LSU won the SEC just last year. We don't judge our seasons by bowl wins unless it's the NC. THAT'S the difference little brother.

1. This bowl game doesn't matter
2. Players weren't interested
3. It's just a mid-week game

Why do ULL fans try to compare themselves to big boy football?
Compare yourselves to the ECUs and Gramblings of the world...that's your lot in life.
Leave the money making football talk to the programs that make money.
I will give it to ULL fans....they are passionate as frick about their second tier product.

I remember lsu fans caring a whole lot when they played in and won the 1995 and 1997 independence bowls.
As someone said earlier, we want our own thing and that's what we are striving for. We have an athletic budget of about $13 million and it probably won't go up any time soon.
Will there be a day when we can close the gap a little on lsu and put a team out there they can be competitive against them? I sure hope so and it seems this coaching staff is taking the correct steps to making that happen.
