Deepening on location it can range from a few thousand to many thousands. The vinyl is the most expensive. Digital rotators are usually your best option because a lot of times the billboard companies will have extra inventory and you'll get a few extra spaces for free.

FYI - This particular board is on Johnston across from Lafonda.

bought brand new Shivers almost a year ago. Wells Landing. with shivers its hit or miss. i know people that have bought brand new with them in the $170's that have had no problems. i know ppl that have bought in the $270's that have had to micromanage the entire build bc the problems started with the slab pouring.

Shivers, like most others, throws up houses like dolla bills at Michaels. i'd say if you buy, try and get in early and watch every.single.thing. they do.

personally i've had a nightmare of a time with them...or so i thought until i talked to some of my neighbors. just my 0.02

I think they should have updated the pressbox/suites (do they even have any?!) before adding more seats.

The updating is part of the Master Plan. The Master Plan for athletics has three phases with phase 3 being the most costly. We are now in phase 2 and will soon start on the baseball field. If we are to continue to host regional and super regional contests we need desperately to upgrade The Tigue.

Cajun Field is as good as it's going to be for right now. I think Robe and his staff deserve some of our money and time to reward them for an amazing season next year. Hope this helps.

Obvious answer is obvious, you need to be taking in about 2700-3400 calories a day. Good calories, proteins, oats, easy on the dairy, no fried. everything should be naked or baked (no not your stoner girlfriend). eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast with a simple carb. non-bleached, wheat whole grain something...bread, pasta. i grab a chobani yogurt, low fat, low carb, high protein..then i mix it with this nature valley protein granola. in that one serving i'm consuming a little over 20g of protein. that's at 8am, then at 10am i'll try and stuff down a chicken breast and peanut butter/banana on wheat toast sammich. LOTS OF WATER. too much protein will kill your kidneys so keep that shite flushed. for lunch i won't eat anything bigger in terms of portions bc i hit the gym around 5 so i can't be worried about digesting gobs of food. more chicken boobs, veggies, (white cheese if you NEED cheese) whole wheat toast with jam, and maybe some beans somewhere in there. black beans are great and you can buy them frozen. WHICH YOU SHOULD BE BUYING ALL OF YOUR VEGGIES AND BEANS FROZEN BECAUSE THERE'S LOWER SODIUM CONTENT. eat lunch around noonish, noon-thirtyish. by 2 pm you want to be drinking a shake. something with about 30-40g of protein. I have a desk job and i have to remind myself to get up and move to aid in the digestion process. you always want to try and keep yourself moving. and as weird as it sounds you should always be a little hungry. even though you are consuming twice the recommended daily intake it's not about how much, it's about when and what. by 4pm, i'm almost off of work and i grab a simple light carb to gimme some extra fuel in the gym. i don't take any supplements i have no idea don't ask me, however; i drink one of those caffeine infused crystal light water packs in my water bottle on the way to the gym. that seems to help me.

in the gym, to amass gains you should lift heavy and often. for instance i'll do flat bench bar and superset that with dumbbells that i keep by the bench. now i go to Red's so there's a shite ton of benches and free weights that allows me to hog some shite. i'll pump out 8 reps of a weight i can get to 8 ONLY ON THE FIRST TIME. then i'll immediately superset that with the dumbbells and i'll pump out 15. i'll perform 4 sets like that. you shouldn't be able to get to 8 the last two sets, if you can...add a plate. same thing with the lighter supersets if you can get to 15 every set it's too light. i only do 4 maybe 5 exercises per muscle group but i work out a muscle group each day. i don't do back/bi's chest/tri's crap. i just don't. abs, i do every other day. i spend maybe 15 minutes of almost non-stop ab workout. lower abs get tired easier so focus on those first and then attack your mid and upper abs.

i am now realizing how long this is, sorry for that. i hope i've kinda helped ya out. good luck.

I know they can be obnoxious at times, but I've never heard them really cross the line with their heckling

What we try to do is really give our boys the home field advantage. We are never personal, nor are we over-the-line. We try and keep it light and funny. Teams and coaches, most of the time, appreciate us. Hand shakes, even gifts and drinks with the opposing teams/coaches.

At leas that's what we try to do! Geaux Cajuns
Can anyone remind me why lsu takes the early game? I think I heard the reasoning that they know the night games will sellout so they try and get fans out there early hoping they'll stay and have twice as many people spending $$

you see this team every year, you understand they are quite capable and you are too prideful/arrogant to throw your quality pitcher?

Southeastern always plays damn good.

Baseball outdoors is meant to be played on real grass

AGREED, however; we just don't have the money to serve the proper maintenance on a real grass field. but! we're getting there.

bahaha, nothing about red stick even remotely can be considered Cajun.

i like this guy. honest answers. quite different from the usual.
I think a few key things happened this game that prevented the Cajuns from coming away with the W

3 fielding errors led to AT LEAST 2 runs.

yea the ump was inconsistent but you have to figure it out. this is the WCS, ain't lamson park. we need to be better in the box. we were down 0-2 in the count WAAY too many times, and we played like it.

we average 6 runs a game and we scored only once on a solo home run, the bats weren't alive.

Kentucky is a below average hitting team yet we made them look spectacular yesterday. We are the better team but let's remember this was supposed to be a rebuilding year for UL. we have a lot of young talent on the team. Hopefully we are awake and can make a nice run through the losers bracket.

it's been done twice, let's make it three times.

GEAUX CAJUNS! <-- btw that's apparently trademarked now. meh, makes business sense.

and people wonder why we are trying to brand ourselves collectively athletically. it's confusing for the average sports fan, and frustrating for the Ragin' Cajun fan.

Well, I really don't buy it.

i know that there are many UL fans that hurt more than help the explanation. I am not in the administration but in my position I have a firm understanding of how the law works, what is illegal and what the university is trying to accomplish.

Media Release this is what has been released, some time ago, to help clear up some of the confusion.

Honestly, myself included, we would love nothing more than to be the University of Louisiana. As fans we always want what we THINK is best for the university, albeit misguided at times. The law clearly states the 'at Lafayette' designation must be used in all official letterhead and seals for academics. The law specifically outlines uses of "UL". Academics, athletics, everything. Anytime we use "University of Louisiana" IT MUST be followed by Lafayette.

BUT...and this is where what we are doing is legal. We are not using the University of Louisiana anywhere without Lafayette.

What we are using is simply Louisiana. Nicknaming our athletics Louisiana is legal.
quote:

A weekend series at ULL would have helped our RPI more than that 1 midweek game (outcome not withstanding).

this of course is only true if UL continues it's success year after year.

Example, when we are slated to play a series with UNO or any other substantially lower RPI team sweeping them will still bring our RPI down. If UL were to get back into a slump where we don't in 40 games year after year, that series would hurt lsu.

my 0.02
i don't think of us being entitled to a name over any other school. i think that we have actively sought out to brand ourselves as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Our fan base refers to the university as UL for ease on the pallet.

Whereas ulm has actively branded themselves as ULM or The Warhawks. They have branded themselves a certain way and we have taken a different branding avenue.

TBH ULM is extremely easier to say/use than ULL.

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette does not want to change its name, nor does it feel entitled to be the only school in Louisiana. What we have done and will continue to do is promote the university ATHLETICALLY as Louisiana or Ragin' Cajuns. Not UL. Branding athletics is completely withing the rights and rules set forth by the law that stipulates the 'University of Louisiana at' designation.
