not the Hall of Great either. there's actually more to it than just accomplishments. there's also perception and impact and such.

Terrell Davis probably had no business getting in.

But the neck injury happened so he’s not top ten all time

It’s not the hall of statistical milestones or longevity either.

While those things can make a player worthy, they also shouldn’t be a requirement.

I know it’s a different sport, but a guy like Fernando Valenzuela absolutely belongs in a Hall of Fame for Major League Baseball, based on his “contribution to the sport” which includes his on field performance as well as Fernando-mania.

I feel like if Terrell Davis is in it then pretty much anyone with 7ish years (he only played 16 games twice in 7 years) should be considered.

Gale Sayers being in crushes any service related stipulations. It's all about impact during your time. Sharpe definitely deserves it based on that criteria.

Wrong. I'm a Dallas fan and he was better than Irvin.

How? Holmgren wanted to be the GM. He was never going to be the GM with Wolf around. Holmgren wasn’t shoved out, he left on his own. Where Wolf screwed up was by hiring Ray Rhodes instead of elevating Andy Reid.

Except Wolf stepped down two seasons later and the Packers ended up giving Mike Sherman the GM job like Holmgren wanted. If Wolf wasn’t going to stick around for very long, why not step down then so the team can keep their HOF head coach?

This right here, Mike Sherman was a fricking disaster and the Ray Rhodes experiment set the franchise back a decade
