Back when Kyrie Irving left the Cavs, the Cavs roster was very subpar that next season and worse entering the playoffs. Lebron James drug that team to a finals.

A couple years ago Steph Curry, in his prime, had to play without Klay Thompson. The Warriors were a lottery team with Curry shouldering it all.

Curry has never been the best basketball player in the NBA at any moment in his career. You can’t be hunted on defense and have that title.

There’s actually almost zero chance curry will ever reach lebrons legacy. He will likely never win another mvp. Is a below average defender his whole career. And of his 4 championships he only won finals mvp one time.

His absolute ceiling is best 3 pt shooter of all time and a borderline top 10 player.

That’s obviously nothing to sneeze at. He’s amazing. But I don’t think he will ever get close to Lebron or MJ. I doubt he ever surpasses Kobe tbh. And Kobe is a borderline top 10 as well

He was the best player on 2 title teams and should've won another in 16 had he not suffered a calamity of injuries that time. Also you could make a case he should've won the 2015 Finals MVP.

In the words of Janet Jackson, what have you done for me lately? LeBron's most recent title is an asterisk bubble championship, Steph won the title last year and Finals MVP. Moreover, you could make the argument he should've won Finals MVP in 2015 which would've given him 2 thus far. He probably should've been co-MVP with KD in 2017 both were amazing in that series. To add context to the defender quality point, LeBron has spent at least the last 8 years as the same quality of defender as Steph is which has really diluted his defensive legacy overall.

There's not going to be a borderline when all's said and done I believe. Hypothetically speaking, what if he wins the title and another Finals MVP this year? He will have surpassed LeBron in Finals wins and with a better record in the Finals as well, can you really say with a straight face that his ceiling is a borderline top 10 player by then?

Winning another title and Finals MVP to surpass LeBron in Finals wins with a better Finals record firmly places him in the same conversation then. He won't pass MJ but even doubters will have to admit he's in the same conversation as LeBron unless they're just haters.

Plus, a big part of Steph's legacy is he changed the game and made it more of a three-ball sport than it ever was previously and it likely will never revert back. We saw prototypes before with certain teams like the Barkley Suns, Hakeem Rockets, Shaq Magic, Steve Nash Suns but Steph raised the bar and EVERYBODY started copying it. Next to his firm tangible accomplishments as a pro, you can't place a value on what he did for the sport, that takes him to LeBron's level ultimately.

If I had to pick one player in their prime for a playoff run, it would be Steph.

If I had to pick one player now, it would be Steph.

The only career stretch that I would take Lebron are the first three years of their respective careers.

You don't actually believe this. You just like to find new ways to hate Lebron.

Also, wait until you learn that Curry has the same political leanings as Lebron.

Let us know when Curry spraypaints the N word on his property and threatens a cop on Twitter.

You sure about that? Steph has definitely put up some real stinkers during the Warriors run.

I love Curry but the passes he gets from fans/media when guys like Kobe, Lebron, Durant would get absolutely crucified for the same is truly wild.

The amount of times I’ve heard Kobe’s titles get downplayed because 3 of them are with Shaq, when Curry only has 1 Finals MVP

Honestly, that final possession in game 7 of the 2016 Finals when Curry completely shite his pants with Kevin fricking Love guarding him was one of the worst looks I’ve ever seen from an all time great in a critical spot. Imagine if Lebron or Kobe were flailing around like that with 30 seconds left in game 7 with a stiff white dude iso’d on them lmao

Yup. I absolutely love Curry. But he gets a pass way too many times. He was abysmal in that game 7. He was absolutely abused on defense all game. The icing on the cake was in the clutch moments of the game, he got locked up by Kevin Freaking Love.

If he's not on a team with Klay and KD, he likely isn't winning the conference, let alone an NBA title.

Curry is an amazing player, but the notion that he is in the same convo as LBJ and Jordan is laughable.

LBJ can and has dragged shitastic rosters deep into the playoffs and to the finals. As good as Curry is, he can't carry a bad team.

Geez you're triggered, LeBron Stan. It's "totally normal" for there to be no video recording AT ALL of the vandalism in a heavily secure neighborhood with surveillance cameras everywhere and for LeBron and his crew to delete the evidence by washing the N word off his gate which is the crime scene for the police.

OK this is a huge exaggeration, he did that TWICE 2007 and 2018 I'll give him that (2018 was a better supporting cast than 2007 not elite but makes 2007 look like the shite sandwich), the rest of the time those teams were exposed for what they were but they never should've lost to an aging Celtics team in 2010 when they had the 1-seed and were up 2-1, no.

So you admit you have zero proof. So in other words you're only speculating.
