I just realized I have a song to add to the "name a classic song you hate" thread over on the music board. Nothing against the Blues, I just hate that song.

As a frustrated Blues fan since the 80s I'm not even sure how process last night's result. All of the years of watching great Blues players (Hull, Joseph, Shanahan, and especially Stevens) go to other teams and win the Cup will never change but it was a great exception to the rule for a long shot Blues team to finally win it all when so many of the better teams fell short.

So you post about blocking a song on the music baord then come to the more sports board to tell us all that you blocked said song but it has nothing to do with the Blues.

Someone pinch me. I must be dreaming. There’s no way in hell the Blues really won the Stanley Cup.

I was superstitious too. I didn’t watch until the postgame celebration. I knew Blues would lose if I watched.

You did stick around and take your lumps. I can respect that. I wish all Boston fans were as cool as you are.

Hope y’all celebrated hard last night.

Something’s telling me St Louis is about to have an absurd number of children born nine months from now.

I still don’t believe the Blues really won. This still must be a dream. Who could have ever seen the Capitals and Blues finally ending long arse droughts in back to back years? What a great time to be a Blues fan.

the parade route is already jam packed.

it doesn't even start till 12.

looks like i'll have a shite view, not sitting in rain to wait for it to start, especially 3 hours

Skipped the parade, have family coming over, and to get even a glimpse you had to get there at 7am. f'that

Greatest parade ever

Players got out and hugged fans, chugged beers with them, a few did jello shots, let fans lift the cup, etc. Never seen the players get out and interact with fans on parade like that.

Brett Hull is still wasted, he's yelling like a mad man on the stage, chugging beers and wearing a rick flair shirt under neath his other shirt.

And shite doesnt get real till 3pm.

When he was in the parade, he was in a convertible camaro with 4 chicks, and was doing shots of liquor that people would pass to him via the parade handlers.

He's becoming a Parade legend.
