it’s as almost as if useless hits in open ice don’t really matter

I don’t understand how that had anything to do with his point.

As a Blues fan, it is mandatory to expect disappointment.

Hey Atlanta, could we have the Hawks back ?

Blues are definitely the more physical team. stars are better skaters and play better positional defense. That's what makes it a great series. Yin and Yang.

Schenn did more damage with three hits than the Stars did in the entire game.

Them vs Cbus would be a fun series

Oh. I thought you were talking about the first response to McCraig saying the Stars were more physical.

My bad.

Nah, we held our own at times, but there were times like late in the first we were getting manhandled all over the ice.

Dallas is outworking the Blues, period.

The Blues get into their own end and act like it's time to take a breather. Dallas sets up behind Binnington like they're about to serve coffee and cake while Blues defenders stand around like pylons.

They're done.

Scoreless after one. I only caught the last few minutes, so not sure how it went, but Bos had two PPs and CBJ one.

Boston has absolutely dominated.
Columbus looks tired.
No hustle.

Sort of a weird game so far, I guess if you had to say which team looked 'better' in the 1st, Boston would be it. Slower pace of play in this game it seems, maybe both teams are feeling some fatigue. CBJ will have to figure out a way to produce more chances on Rask, the only good chance for them that I can think of in the 1st was Jenner's attempt in the latter half of the period about 15 feet from the net. Other than that CBJ did not have anything going.
