Yep. That whole scene there yesterday was shameful.

In the light of day, Philly's actions last night are even more shameful, so I'm gonna take a moment to a single out a Flyer who acted with class last night, and my opinion of him actually went up: Wayne Simmonds.

Simmonds can be seen with Ovi telling the crowd to "fricking stop!" He was clearly embarrassed by the goat rodeo going on.

But more importantly, Simmonds faced the media after the game while nearly every other Flyer ducked out. Well, except White, who approved of the fans' actions, so he hardly helped. Simmonds acted like a professional and was the one guy in the organization who answered for their psychological collapse.

He's a tough, talented player, and I criticized him in Game 1 for being dumb, but at least it was an error of passion (and he picked a fight with Wilson, one of the league heavyweights... no ducking weight classes here). But he's shown he cares but that he's also willing to answer for when things go wrong.

Hextall should give him the C right now.

Tough game for the Rangers today, last game was fun, first one wasn't. Girardi is out today, not optimistic about McDonagh.

Preds need to keep it up tonight, exciting times to be a hockey fan in Nashville. Lavy is keeping all lines the same. Will be interesting to see if Anaheim continues to play undisciplined hockey.

Bellemare doesn't have a rep as that kind of player, and his genuine horror right after the hit screams accident. He has to be suspended because... well, that hit was ugly. But I don't harbor him any ill will. He made an awful hit, he's going to get 1-2 games, and life will move on.

The shame is that we can't suspend White. He IS that kind of player, and he's going around stirring up all sorts of nonsense, and now running his mouth to the press. It would be great if he could be suspended instead, for game management reasons, because I'm a little afraid of what stupid thing he's going to do in Game 4, and who else he's going to hurt. That said, there's nothing the NHL can suspend him for. So Bellemare will likely get the hammer, when really, the guy who "deserves" it will play.

Been really busy working then dealing with my family at home. Also coaching ball in evenings and talking with college coaches about possible upcoming round robins they can host for summer as well as any camps/lessons. Then lining up what exposure tourneys we will possibly play for our older travel team and seeing what coaches will be where. Son is playing baseball as well now so it really is balls to the wall each day along with the girls playing softball. So it's a full time job basically away from my day job. But it's a blast helping the players.

at any rate, I see SMS aka BAV is still a rice dick, penis envy, little man like he always has been. It is really sad he has no life and no purpose. I feel so sorry for SMS. Poor guy didn't have the balls to just admit he was wrong about Carey Price and move on. Nope. Had to make himself look bad. real bad and of course lost any credibility he may have had. Price had gotten very little help last year other than a few good penalty kills with low or no SOG and a few blocked shots every now and then helping lower the SOG which was still fairly high. offense and PP was terrible. Price was even hurt in the playoffs and nobody knew until afterward. You can look it up.
