Kari is such a freaking choke artist.

As is our team. Nice fricking line change scrubs.

Dallas is just a team full of plugs.

Starting the 3rd period on the power play. I'll take that moral victory.

While I don't want to interrupt the inevitable pile-on of a guy bragging that his team is gonna win the Cup because they were, stressing WERE, beating the worst team in the playoffs... how about that Caps game?

The game started the only way it could. With a moment of silence for recently deceased beloved owner Ed Snider interrupted by Philly fans dropping the f-bomb. Unsurprisingly, this would not be the low point for Philly on the evening.

Apparently, whining about refs works because Ryan White put Orpik's head into the boards and spent no time in the penalty box. I'm no doctor, but it looked like Orpik's series is over. He looked like he didn't know what planet he was on. So, being Philly fans, they booed him as he was carted off the ice.

When the Caps went up 4-1, the Flyers went into give up mode. Their power play was a joke, and screamed "please let this game end". And then Bellemare put Orpik into the boards head first, and all hell broke loose. Gudas starting fighting Burakovsky, who didn't drop the gloves. Ryan White did more Ryan White things. By the time the dust settled, the Flyers had one major plus THREE game misconducts while the Caps were assessed zero penalties. We were too busy pointing at the scoreboard.

The Flyers crowd was shameful. Just shameful. To their credit, even the Philly PA announcer called the fans out with a sarcastic "way to go". But a bunch of terrible, unnecessary penalties followed by the crowd hurling objects on to the ice? Some may call it a disgrace, I'd call it the perfect tribute to Snider's hockey legacy.

Oh, Holtby has more points in the series than Simmonds and Giroux combined. Suck on that, Philly.

Nice summary. To Philly's credit, Steve Mason got pounded in the presser and handled it about as well as someone could. He's probably relieved, knowing Neuvirth should get the nod.

I don't see how anyone can blame Mason. OK, Kuzy's goal was his fault, but other than that... blame White and his fellow thugs.

Shite, I missed it flipping to see what happened in Mavs/OKC. I did see Ronnie Lott in the bowels of the arena wearing a Sharks jersey, open the locker room door for the team to storm out, and doing hype/motivation yelling.

Did you happen to see Trotz' presser?

He was really holding back his thoughts on Philly.
