5 years probably. He prob already has state retirement with Delta State and Gulfport HS. He went JUCO at Jones and then left for LA Tech. He came back to USM. He has about 23+ years. He can leave and come back and get a head job which will be his best 3 years. He's close but can leave and finish with a 3 year deal which sets him for life

I have the same retirement he has and if someone would have hired me at 2-3 times the salary I would have left in a heartbeat. He is vested and will receive the retirement at 62 or he could come back and finish his years.

I know him from his days at Gulfport High. He is one heck of a coach

He’s coached at La Tech and he’s from Monroe. Seems like a no brainer if he’s as good as everyone says.

Education retirement systems have very strange vesting and forfeiture clauses which is complicated by not paying into social security while in Mississippi teachers retirement

Depending on when he first paid in, he could have been vested as early as four years in. Teachers do pay into SS in MS.

I was asking questions you dumbass, and when I got all the data I stated he could keep his Mississippi retirement. This is my field of work and I know what’s up, but you can’t answer a question without data

Crawl back into your vagina you tampon

If you read his bio, he has been in the Mississippi system for 17-18 years.

It's not like he has been working at DMV. The "system" doesn't apply to him. Make your paycheck where you can find it. He won't retire in Mississippi at 100% or any % because he is not a tenured employee by the state's rule. How much smack is Les getting from the state of Louisiana?

Some one else said his total vested years was 23. That means he will get a very high percentage from Mississippi

Also educators have their own system separate from state system

This retirement discussion is stupid. Guy could turn the LSU pitching coach job into a multi million dollar power 5 job.

You are correct he could, but what if he doesn’t?

My opinion is he’s not really interested in coming to LSU

Then he could go back and retire in the Mississippi system that you have been so obsessed about. Guys that are good, bet on themselves and take on the challenge, like Jay Johnson. Increasing your salary by a couple hundred thousand helps too.

I’m not obsessed just collecting and passing along information

You are obsessed with me because you’re obviously inferior intellectually. So crawl back in your hole and check your tampon

Man every post is about retirement system and tampons with you. We might have to defer to you on those topics.

He makes like 73k a year.

I feel like I would Rather 4x the money than being in a state retirement system.
