Go to a game. It's actually a good bit of fun. It's like a high school game, but it can get rowdy in there v/s teams line Nicholls or even McNeese.

I'll be at the UCA game. I really wanted to watch them against Nicholls or McNeese, but Nicholls conflicts with LSU-Alabama, and the McNeese game is a Thursday night, which I can't do.

What is the point of this?

They are not a school known for academics or sports of any kind. But hey let’s become a diploma mill and be a gigantic commuter school because it is cool.

I think SLU baseball has top 50 attendance in the nation

Just checked and they average more than every Big 10 school in baseball.

I graduated from Southeastern and really enjoyed my time there. I grew up in BR and am a huge LSU fan, so it's fun to have SLU coming to tiger stadium. I'll probably wear mostly LSU colors, but maybe throw in a SLU hat.

I don't know if it's still this way, but their nursing and education programs were considered really good when I was in school there.

One of the many schools in LA that needs to be shutdown.

Sorry, Louisianians, Scruffy does not ascribe to the stupid idea that every city needs a university because it is too hard to travel.

Lousiana baseball fandom moves the goal post some and makes attendance a tough comparison. Do they draw as much as LSU or anywhere close, no. They probably don't draw as much as Tulane or ULL. But they have decent attendance compared to a ton of schools outside of LA. Lousiana folks just watch a lot of college baseball.

I've been at a bunch of games at other schools where it's the players parents and that's it. Having any fans in college baseball says something.

Totally disagree, over 15,000 students, no need to shutdown.

LA has 16 public universities.

SIXTEEN

That is batshit insane.

If Scruffy remembers correctly, that is the most per capita of any state.

At most, LA should have 4.

The number of students is irrelevant.
