Probably an unpopular opinion, but he's a fricking weirdo. I'd be embarrassed if he was my father. No grit, resolve, virtue, or integrity.

They also don’t trot people with Alzheimer’s out in public.

Dean Smith pretty much stayed in his home or in care facilities the last few years of his life. Same with Sandra Day O’Connor.

The only comment about his health I could find was from an Indiana broadcaster who didn’t have direct info.

After watching the Knight 30 for 30

I can’t imagine Indiana being too thrilled on him coming back nor do I see any reason for him to want to come back. Indiana basketball was just as bad as Penn State football in defending their sports and their university. Some cult type shite

Yeah, the last few years. Alzheimer’s is a disease that could last a decade.

I’ve literally seen Bob Knight give interviews as recently as two years ago... and he seemed as sharp as you would expect. If there was something going on, it would be obvious.

There is a huge difference between being 2 years into the disease and being 6 years in.

Idk why but I thought Gene Keady had died. He seemed really old when he retired and that was a while back.

Keady is about same age as Sutton. He’s looking worse as he’s dropping weight. When we were kids you wouldn’t ride your bike by his yard if Arkansas lost.

Vitale just said something to the effect of how he "hates to see what he's going through now"

I wished Archie would’ve worn the plaid sports coat today like Knight used to

Archie Miller can’t lose this game. He will be about out of goodwill in Indiana if he loses this one.
