Again, if changing your signals is as easy and as quick of a turnaround as some posters are implying, why in the world did Sparty choose to run their playcalls in 2 weeks ago? And why wasn’t Ohio State able to change everything last year?

Because your coaches aren’t as good?

i think this analyst they have is kind of a weirdo. he's a military s-4 guy(logistics), so the weirdo part makes sense. i believe he thought he was helping more than he really was.

bullshite. The Big 10 destroyed the PAC-12 for football.

This is a pretty interesting Feldman interview. Interviewed 50 coaches and 48 of them said it was at or above a 3 out of 5 in being serious.

That's at 2:30 mark

Some coaches said it could be 21 point swing.

4:00 mark

guess my position is this...is this something we actually want to let go and essentially let become legal? Is that what we are favoring...all out cheating? I get it, there will always be some level of coaching trying to gain the upper hand, but this goes WAY beyond that and everybody in the world knows it. This is something the B1G and NCAA needs to come down on hard.

I don’t disagree. I’m simply saying we can do away with this entirely with electronic communication in the helmets.

Urban has some thoughts on it all:

quote:

Urban Meyer on Michigan football sign-stealing allegations: 'Hard for me to believe'

“This is really the first time, because it’s you and a guy I respect — so I’m very cautious," Meyer said this week on his podcast, "Urban's Take with Tim May." "I’ve been asked over 100 times to comment on it and I just won’t. But I am going to, I’ll tell you my thoughts: First of all I’m very skeptical of reporters' reporting. My experience is they’re wrong most of the time. And that’s not a shot at the media, that’s reality. People say things that they’re reporting that’s just not true. So I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt saying, first of all it’s hard for me to believe that is true.”

“I also heard people say that ‘Well, everyone does that.’ And Tim, no one does that," Meyer continued. "I’ve never heard of that in 40 years of being around the game. There’s a very clear and that rule, some will say it’s not that important. Once again, everybody is entitled to their opinion. If they know your signals, it is that important. You’re changing the game. That’s very egregious if that’s what happened. I’m not saying it did, because I’m still skeptical it did."

I still don't think anything happens because of all the money involved. You'll basically be telling Fox that the osu/Michigan game this year will be worthless. Good luck with that.

Or it provides more intrigue. I am much more likely to watch it now if I'm being honest.

That's fine, but Fox is thinking big picture here. This game will have massive ratings if it's for a playoff spot, and also with this cloud hanging over Michigan. Fox will have a say in all this, I assure you.

Weird that the consensus here is just whatever the other teams can alter their strategies because one team is cheating. The whole is getting punished for the one, who gets no punishment. Donut scene in FMJ.

I do know that if this was Bama, the rest of the sec would ge calling for their heads

I don't think it's close to a consensus for what you said. I think most people think, yes, the other teams can change their signs, but not many think "whatever" about Michigan doing this to the extent they did. The more that comes out the more people are saying this was overboard.

[Athletic] One B1G Coach: "What’s the message the Big Ten is sending now by doing nothing? Win now, pay later? We might as well just send people to their practices and their games. It doesn’t encourage anybody to follow the rules. It’s just telling them to do the opposite and say, f— it.”

The article also noted that all 13 other coaches requested Michigan be punished this season.
