But wait, the Texas fans on this board said they made the right call and I was an idiot for thinking differently.

Where y'all at now? Or are you too busy preparing for the raping that is going to happen on Saturday?

A questionable call benefiting Texas? In a Big 12 game? Why, that is very surprising.

Holy shite is that the boom goes the dynamite guy? That's the most dry and awful reporting I've ever heard.

That call will never take place in the SEC. Blown calls, sadly, way too often. Especially on the playing fields in bama & AU.

Crappy calls in the SEC are usually due to incompetence, not favoritism. Penn Wagers screws everyone over equally.

but they seem to benefit BAMA the most just b/c A&M left the Big12 doesn't mean they are getting away from one team getting favoritism

Wait till you see what we are having the refs cook up in Austin this weekend!!!

I haven't rewatched the play, but just assuming it was a bad call, this sort of apology would piss me off as an OSU fan more than anything else. I hate crap like that - because at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter.

Related, didn't Texas get a call reviewed at the end of a game that was unreviewable in their 2009 championship run? If I recall, it was in the McCoy days, and Texas somehow got time added back on the clock.

Oh lord...you're seriously not bringing this up are you?

At least start a new thread for it.

Or go Google search it - trust me, you'll get a lot of hits back.

It was reviewable and the right call, unfortunately.

i agree. ild rather they lie and say the refs made the right call instead of saying, 'well, yall shouldve won the game.'

the Nebraska/Texas Big 12 title game was the right call no matter how much Huskers fans cry about it.

They were super whiny their last couple years in the Big 12 TBH. I think it stems from Bo Pelini being a raging nutcase on the sideliens.

I honestly think he is going to have a cardiac event or stroke during a game on the sideline.

They never said they should have won the game. The right call was probably a fumble with an unclear recovery which would have resulted in Texas having the ball on the 1 yard line. Field goal...end of game.

Nowhere near the right call. I'll grant that you might not have seen when the fumble occurred, but OSU clearly recovered it. It went straight into the defender's arms. The only question was that you couldn't see the ball carrier's knees clearly.

No, they didn't. A TD was signaled so no one else was going for the ball. The ball was under the pile out of view.
