Hilarious these POS owners shake down governments for the money to build these arenas, which are owned by the city, and yet they restrict harmless free speech. Pathetic.

Cracking down on this kind of stuff only makes the fans angrier and it makes the team look bad. Let the fans complain and boo the GM. After all, they’re still in the arena buying beer and hot dogs. You want them to start staying home?

This situation is actually getting worse each day. Cuban cussing out fans and the owner and GM doubling down on the trade and trashing Luka. Now there are rumors AD is out for the year and they are hiding it. Never seen anything like this in my years of following sports.

Apparently the owner is a dipshit.

And never followed the League.

you think they’re the only organization that wouldnt have paid Luka?

I'm gona say no.

But they are the only team willing to trade him without doing any due diligence.

I believe there are a handful of teams that probably would balk at paying him. But they are getting back 6 years of draft picks and young promising players

The thing about trading Luka is that if word gets out that you’re shopping him, fan reaction would have killed any deal… imagine that trade after the fans would have let their disapproval be heard

I get that I guess... but on the other hand you have a fanbase that may actually revolt.

I'd think taking everything in consideration I'd take the risk of a leak.

At least if everything is out there you can have multiple teams with multiple offers and options.

The trade as is is so hard to justify and bless their hearts for actually trying. But, I think you may actually be able to calm people down a bit by getting the biggest haul in NBA history.

Is it lawful for ownership of a basketball team to eject a fan who paid for the ticket just because they mouth the words ‘Fire Nico’?

The optics alone make the Mavs franchise look like a clown show, but it seems they could have some lawsuits on their hands as well.

I am a Mav fan that lived in Dallas for 20 years.

This is so very strange. But it is killing the fan base.

And dont forget too........they raised ticket prices RIGHT after trading Luka.

They tossed him when he held up a "Fire Nico" sign, which they said violated the rules because it was "derogatory towards another person".

This whole thing makes no sense. The only thing is the NBA needs to make sure the Laker’s stay relevant.

I've stated my dislike of Luka on here for years. Can't stand the dude, he is unbearable to watch. But this argument makes no sense. The Mavericks were literally in the NBA Finals last year

His game is not based on being an athletic specimen like someone like Zion to where if he's not in elite shape it effects his game in a major way. Clearly the shape Luka was in was not a big deal as far as, you know, winning games.

Demoncraps must run the place. Protests/opinions are only allowed if it fits their agenda.

Next time try violence and they will welcome you with open arms.

I don't follow basketball at all and even I know that Shaq wasn't always in the best of shape.

Jasmine Crock-o-shite says hello. Dallas is essentially the only blue area on the north Texas voting map. Heck their police chief just came out saying they won't be helping ICE.
