Also just as an aside I think the word "cluth" is silly. All a player can do is get into the best position possible to make a shot. Sometimes they go in. Sometimes they don't. If a player gets an open look at the basket, that's pretty much all I ask for from a late game shot.

jturn17, I think you are already one of the best posters on this board.

So, carrying them to the WCF is something, but going ot the Finals isn't?

You realize how ridiculously biased those 2 statements are?

It was a fun little convo on it and you had to go get butthurt over it. Calm down, no one is attacking you ya mongrel beast. We're just saying The Bron sucks and anyone who likes him has a tiny baby dick.

When has KD ever done things like that, regular season or playoffs? Tell me, i'll gladly concede when you show me the games where he's done that

True, but that is kind of a flawed argument.

LBJ is in his 9th season. KD is in his 5th
Let's make it unflawed.

KD is 23. Who was more accomplished team wise and individual wise by the age of 23 in the playoffs?

THere ya go.

When?

Just because I show you facts that make you look ridiculous doesn't mean I'm butthurt.

I'm not the one posting pictures because he's butthurt and can't come up with an actual, legit response.

Cool links. Lebron did more than that in a span of 10 games just in one season's playoffs, last year.

I thought we were talking about who the better scorer is right now. Not all time resumes

Did you see that game winner Durant hit against the mavs a month ago?

I wish all of the "haters" would just watch Lebron play objectively for once. It is a damn shame you are missing out on one of the all-time great basketball players with stupid 4th quarter jokes and irrational arguments. Before I called a Lebron nuthugger, I am pretty Lebron neutral (and Kobe is my favorite player of all-time FWIW). In fact, I really do not hate any athletes at all for arbitrary reasons.

There is no doubt that Lebron is more "clutch" than Durant because he is a better basketball player than Durant. Furthermore, as shel311 posted, the stats completely back up the relative "clutchness" of each player.

How is everyone selectively remembering the misses and forgetting the makes for Lebron and the converse for Durant? You guys have some fricked up biases.

KD's drop off in FG% from regular season to playoffs is twice as high as Lebron's. KD shoots 42% from the field in the playoffs.

At this age, Lebron had already led a team MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than KD's to the Finals. KD hasn't come close to getting to the Finals.

Durant has had some serious playoff struggles so far. I'm not sure why they're glossed over and Lebron gets hammered. Artest absolutely owned KD a few years ago in that Lakers/Thunder series

KD was in college for a year as well. Age argument is pretty pointless.

Again, I'm not saying either is better...but age comparing is tough.

I'm not claiming KD is the better player, I'd just rather have him for the last second shot.

And all that, "the bron had no one else on his team" stuff seems silly now. He got with mrs union and raptorface and lost to a bunch of old men and a german last year.

btw,

Idk if you're gonna' catch KD doing THAT

So far, KD has not disappointed in his performances.

I'm starting to think that you don't actually watch the NBA and just parrot what you hear others say. That is so far from being true

Lebron is a perimeter player shooting 55% from the field. How is he not a better scorer?

ALL the talk in last year's playoffs was how KD couldn't even get open to get the ball in big situations.

And guys were all over the place talking about how Westbrook was taking the big shots, not even KD. ANd the reason was because KD was doing a terrible job of getting open.

Nah bro, none of that ever happened according to the NBA experts lighting this thread up right now

Of course Lebron is a better player. We are isolating the 1 category that KD is better at. Scoring

Lebron is not a perimeter player.

He scores a ton of his points driving to the lane for Layups, dunks, or free throws
