Has gamecock been your alter all along? The notion that Durant is a perimeter player and Lebron isn't is absurd. Lebron has been bashed his entire career for not playing in the post.

also,

THIS
quote:

Lebron's career FG% in the playoffs is 4 points higher than KD's.

and THIS
quote:

KD's drop off in FG% from regular season to playoffs is twice as high as Lebron's. KD shoots 42% from the field in the playoffs.

or THIS
quote:

Lebron did more than that in a span of 10 games just in one season's playoffs.

none of these are fact unless you actually link to a place that confirms it. For instance I could say: Right now KD leads The Bron in scoring LINK

He's a perimeter player.

And I still don't get how KD is a better scorer when he's worse at scoring.

I'll tell ya'll one thing, for people to get this up in arms defending The Bron I have to assume you guys are Heat fans. FTR, I really like 'Zo and I hear ya'll have great cuban food down there.

You're just trying to avoid answering those facts. I get it.

Did anyone else see KD airball a finger-roll and then hit the bottom of the backboard on a layup on game tying shots on back to back nights a few weeks ago? He made some plays after and I think they won both games but this place would've gone nuts if it was LeBron being that un-clutch.

That is highly debatable. I'd rather my team not make it than get embarrassed.

So, carrying them to the WCF is something, but going ot the Finals isn't?

I didn't going to the finals wasn't important, but he has sucked up in the finals twice now. KD is not even remotely responsible for the Thunder losing to the Mavs.

Don't flatter yourself. I had no idea who you were until this thread. Then I clicked on your post history and wasn't surprised to see you all over OT im threads. Seems fitting given your contributions here.

He's saying perimeter players shoot deep jumpers. He's wrong, but that's what he's saying.

And why are we limiting this to scoring? I thought clutch/late game situations occurred on offense and defense?

Is a player still clutch if they allow their match up to score on them in the late game?

Also, just to troll the Durant = greatest shooter ever crowd: 3pt%:
Durant 36%
LeBron: 41%

Perimeter is the 3 point line. Perimeter player would be someone who gets a majority of their points from >16 feet out. Lebron doesn't do that

Majority of lebrons points

LINK

"Perimeter player" refers mostly to where you begin your actions as a player. LeBron generally catches the ball at the 3 point line and drives in. That's a perimeter player.

I know that it's used like that sometimes. Can you read?

quote:

lebron is not a perimeter player. He scores a ton of his points driving to the lane for Layups, dunks, or free throws

Ur response?

You say I'm wrong then say the same thing I said. Genius

He's more of a slasher/driver than a perimeter offensive player
