So when does Cam Newton become a TE

Seems like the trend. Just saw a video of practice. Cam over threw every person while Jones was dropping in the bread basket.

Cam will quit and cry racism most likely

A better question would be “when does Cam begin to transition and become the first ‘female’ to play in the NFL?”

That transition is only available to privileged white men according to the sports media and NFL players.

The $125 million he's been paid by NFL franchises tells me his next position will be laying on the couch.

Message board etiquette went out the door years ago. You boomers who discovered the internet in the age of Facebook and phones would have never survived the golden age.

To be fair he had a hand injury from last weeks practice and it was pouring down like crazy in that practice
Still expect Mac to start sooner than later.

Cam was terrible last season. He’s done.

Well yeah, he stunk out loud last year
Probably opens the season as the starter and plays better than he did last year but at some point he will struggle in the 4th in an important game and the Mac wheels will start moving

I'm sure a lot of this is tongue in cheek. But Logan Thomas has made a really nice transition. He is a borderline pro bowler. I never would have believed it..

Pretty sure Logan Thomas was like the #1 player out of high school as a TE, or a highly recruited guy who played that in high school mostly, then transitioned to QB in college full time

This is wrong. He played QB, WR and DB in high school, never tight end.
I agree with brmark. The guy obviously never had what it took to play QB, but has done an excellent job of making a career at TE.

Still my point was that he had some experience in non QB roles at that level. Most places wanted him elsewhere besides QB. I’m not disagreeing with him that it’s impressive that Thomas made that transition, just that there’s a little more to that than something like Cam deciding to completely switch positions for the first time in his career after a decade plus as an NFL starter

Cam is way too soft to get hit every play

To be fair 99 percent of this planet is too soft to get hit every play in the NFL.

Newton has been sacked more times than Peyton Manning, who was extremely fragile at the end..
