He may do very well. Maybe not. But no one knows

You have to admit that the noob OP made a pretty riveting argument against CUM, right after showing he didn’t know how to spell his name.

Me putting an "S" on the end of his name was a joke. It goes back to Corrine Brown, a Florida congressional rep., actually reading a proclamation in Congress about Meyer and the Gators the year they won the National title. I believe it was '09. She put an "S" at the end of his name and it's been a running joke ever since.

Here's the clip:
"Go Gatuh!"

if his agent can negotiate a 5 year, 10mil per year, I’d say he’s already won

Don't love it but at 1-15 can it really get any worse?

Inb4 0-16.

I hope he's successful and wins a Super Bowl. Something Nick Saban never did.

Who is Urban Meyers?
The S at the end is a long-running joke. Think Corrine Brown.

Can't wait for his heart and brain problems to all of a sudden pop up as soon as he realizes coaching in the pros is harder than the SEC.

say what you want but Urban is inheriting a pretty damn good offense in Jacksonville. It isn't a joe burrow scenario. The jags have a legit offensive line, 4 good receivers, a really good running back in James Robinson. The only thing that has been missing is a legit qb and when they select Trevor Lawrence they will be legit. Now on the defensive side there is along way to go but if they go all defense after Lawrence they will get at least 6 or 7 wins next year. Urban may be going there for a reason.

Losses will happen way more frequently in the pros than in college for Urbs.He takes losing so bad that it affects his health.Won't be surprised if he burns out after one or two yrs & heads back to FOX or ESPN talking college football.

I mean do you not think one of the most successful coaches ever can realize this?

Yep. Obviously the joke went right over a couple of people's heads on this thread.

That's the point, though. He ain't used to losing, and he's gonna do a lot of it on Sundays. Especially early on.

I'll admit it initially went over my head, but "Go Gata!" Corinne Brown is so dumb she went to prison for things that Maxine Waters, another moron, can pull off with ease.
