I don't think he'll change either, but I would expect this answer regardless.

Last year was pretty crazy when they came home for Game 3, so perhaps they want to keep up the pace and put faith in the role players at home. JR has to shoot more than 3 times per game to get in a rhythm, for instance.

They slowed down the pace considerably in Game 7, holding GS to 89 points IIRC.

Bottom line, Cleveland can't win shooting 40% from the field and 32% from 3, regardless of pace.

Yeah but it seems pretty clear that pace is not to their benefit.

Yes/I don't really remember

And, not sure, like with every thread, the argument/question evolves as the pages go on. But your agreeance on whether the Cavs had enough help wasn't really relevant to you saying I said/argued they had no help, as well as it didn't jive with a couple(maybe only 1) of the sarcastic posts you made that would insinuate you disagreed with the "LeBron doesn't have enough help" assertions.

Hell no. He should be starting over JR. They're shooting at practically the same clip and Shumpert has been the only one defending this series.

Exactly. And if he can find minutes for Tristan Thompson, get him in. Let him bring some physicality to the game.

Yeah probably not. Their shooting is the problem though, more than anything.

If they just shot their season averages, they would have scored 34 more points through two games. Their -41 instead. Point is, they can keep it close just shooting average, and if they do, anything can happen.

That's all I need to know.

Wait wait wait, you're saying it's possible to argue something without explicitly saying it? Interesting....

Also, the comments that you took to be a sarcastic remark about him not having enough help was me laughing that he had no help. Which I now see as what this conflict boils down to.

They certainly need more help

Realistically speaking, what can they do? They have the highest payrooll in the league. The same Cavs team save Korver and Dwill beat a 73 win team last year. In a 7 game series.

They need better coaching to utilize what they already have. Stotts gave GSW two good games, one of which Portland should have won. That's with scrubs such as Napier and Vonley getting minutes.

Sure, of course. But 2 things:

1. If I argue with someone for pages and pages over a couple of days that the sky is blue, am I not saying that the sky is blue?

2. I never said or argued that LeBron had no help, so again, not sure of the relevance of going down this path.

Probably not much. I can't think of anything that has a good shot at happening that I can point to and say the Cavs are not just better, but good enough to beat arguably the GOAT team. Whatever it is, it has to involve Kevin Love, as I don't see how you can get anything of value with the other guys.

Yea, they're really freaking good...just nowhere near GOAT level good, so not sure what they can do.

Every fricking LeBron thread turns out the same way by page 2 or 3. Every single one of them.

Hell there was a thread earlier here that was started about LeBron slowing down (literally), and then the idiots quickly turned that into him not being as good as before when the stats showed otherwise. And the very original point of the thread never even got discussed.

This whole tiff is about no help vs not enough help
yep. Weagle was wrong saying that shell said lebron doesn't have any help but his premise is still right. Shell says he didn't have enough help and weagle claims if he doesn't have enough help then shouldn't that fall in the shoulders of the gm (lebron)

There's no amount of coaching that could counterbalance what GS did in acquiring Durant.

This is an arms race. They needed to answer the KD signing this past winter. Don't know what they were thinking staying pat. Cousins for Love would've helped.

Not sure what you mean. If there was a realistic move to be made that would improve them, they would have done it.

Given their questionable moves like signing JR Smith and TT to big deals, I'm not convinced they know what's best for them.

My issue was in the summer. Watching Delly walk was disappointing looking back now. Not saying he would have made a real difference, but what competent defensive guards do the Cavs have outside of Shump? JR could be good on defense when he puts his mind to it, but that doesn't always happen.
