But not Messi, and not other great current soccer players. Again, a luxury Lebron does not have to win titles and MVPs.

Well both Messi and Ronaldo are on the wrong side of 30, and I don't think they'll be in the chase for the Ballon d'Or much longer. There's already a push for new blood this season.

That doesn't really address his point though.

When you can name the warriors as one of the teams in the finals before the season even starts it doesnt speak well for the level of competition

or it speaks to the fact that the league is set up completely differently than any soccer league and that it says absolutely nothing in any way about the actual individual talent in the league

Individual talent? Sure the league is probably at an all time high for level of play. Doesnt mean that its competitive. What sport isnt at its all time highest for individual talent though? With the advancements made in the medical field and all the time and money now spent on sports all of these athletes are in the best possible shape we can get them in now

thats literally what we are all talking about. thats literally the entire point. lebron plays against an absurd amount of talent in the NBA. he doesnt have to go out and play against the other leagues and stars in the world like ronaldo does. because its all in the NBA

there are a multitude of reasons why golden state has become what they have become, but that has absolutely no matter in this discussion because it doesnt change the fact that lebron has to play that group of players multiple times every single year

His total title count is much higher than 5.
Bron only gets to play for one title a year, and those league titles for Ronaldo come against basically two other teams on their level, so he should win more

If the NBA counted titles like League Soccer, Lebron would have 12 titles

(9 East Titles and 3 NBA titles)

Pulisic isn’t a superstar. Not even close. He may be a superstar to Americans, but he’s average at best in Europe.

the frick

Pulisic is one of the best young players in the world, American or not.

IF he can take the next step in his game and is a legit star by the next World Cup, he will become a Superstar at that point.

I hope he can.
