the only sport that saw its championship series rating drop 30%
quote:

Game 7 of the 2017 World Series between the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers may have been historic in baseball terms, but it didn’t quite register as much for casual fans. The game fell a staggering 30 percent from the 2016 Game 7

Steady decline in All star game ratings

It was not, however, the highest rated. The Pro Bowl had a slightly higher 5.3, marking the first time since 2013 that the MLB game has trailed its NFL equivalent. The All-Star Game had a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49 (-9%), its lowest rating in the demo since at least 1991. It trailed both the Pro Bowl (2.4) and the NBA All-Star Game (3.3). The game also had a 1.6 in adults 18-34 (-11%).

Good he deserves it for owning up to his immaturity and changing from a boy to a man. Also not sure where the AS numbers come from
quote:

Fox drew a 6.5 overnight rating for the MLB All-Star Game last night. Flat compared with last year. Likely that viewers starting leaving when game went to extra innings (exhibition and all). Cubs fans must have wanted to watch ASG, as Chicago market was up 60% compared to 2017

You people will rationalize anything if it helps white people.

I’m just waiting for the inevitable “he just said what everyone is afraid to say in PC America” comments.

You are right, we should vilify him and hate him for all of eternity. Even his teammates that came out in support of him

Funny thing is that guy cheers on pro athletes that were caught up in assault and rape cases but Hader fired off some dumb and racist tweets when he was a teenager and by all accounts his minority teammates have forgiven him but this idiot is too blind to his own racism to see it.

He also mentions the World Series which had a 10.6 overall rating, I believe second highest rated World Series in the last 5 years

What? Are people supposed to be outraged by something a 24 year old said back in high school?

You do realize they gave him the ovation to let him know they support him, right?

I know many of you are partially retarded on here(one only has to look at the South and education rankings), but try to at least know what your talking about.

And ratings for all star games??? Seriously?

In fairness, a guy in this very thread said he "deserved" a standing ovation.

Here’s one of the tweets in the thread on Twitter about Harper

If hell existed, whites would be the major occupants for real. At this point they have to have been born with hatred in their hearts, black people need to stop with this protestinf and crying crap, if your family member gets harmed by one of these demons, retaliate!

Pretty much this.

The same people defending him saying he was a teenager who made mistakes are the same ones rationalizing a teenager wearing a hoodie getting shot to death in his own neighborhood because some strange guy followed him around.

Had this been Lebron tweets from the age of 17 the same people would want him destroyed and would enjoy every second of the circus that followed.

It's amazing how much we hate ourselves as humans... simply because a difference in melatonin in skin.
