How bad is it? I haven't watched since the Rangers shut the Astros out two games in a row.

Swept by the Athletics. Scored three runs each game, while Oakland homered all over Minute Maid.

We may only have one win...but dammit, it was against the Rangers on Opening Night.

It's the fewest games out of first place in the division they will be for the entire season.

Clever and original.

He MAY have one hit. I haven't seen much of their games, but if his fielding is anything like his at-bats that I've seen, I'd imagine he's lazier than fricking fatass Carlos Lee and lets the centerfielder come corral everything thats hit to him.

He hit a triple yesterday.

you just go ahead and buckle up then. it's going to be a rough year.

maybe less threads about the Astro's, like DAT, and there would be less Astro's hate threads.

1,529 is the number Astros fans need to have in their head. It is the record for the most strikeouts set by a team in one season. The diamondbacks did it in 2010.

I think the Astros can do i this year and its the only record they have a shot at.

Tis not true.

There are a bevy of MLB records that could fall with the Astros this year.

Off the top of my head, shutouts would have to be a record that could be challenged.

True, true. There are more records the Astros could set this year.

But,

I am all in on the strikeouts record. That is impressive to be that bad all season long. I think they can do it.

They might be pretty competitive in Triple A.

When you spend less money that A-Rod for an entire team, you get what you get

OKC Redhawks are 3-1.

And why spend money that you don't have to when finishing 10th is really no better than 15th? All of the talent is at AAA and AA right now. In a couple of years when that talent matures the Astros will be players in the FA market and fill in whatever holes exist then.
