Well that statement doesn't make much sense.
how so? i would much rather have a very long run of being really good and continually having a shot at winning the title year in and year out instead of randomly winning it 3 times between lost years and being about two years away from staring at the abyss from an organizational standpoint

I won't deny that but the Dodgers' fans have been saying this for a long time now.

The Dodgers kinda remind me of the Mavs before 2011 happened. A lot of really great years, but nothing to show of it. I guess the Suns would be a better comparison. We'll see how they do in October.

So if you are the Giants GM who would you trade
Cueto/ Shark and Melancon

I live up here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I would think the Giants fans would be more upset but they are still caught up winning the 3 World Series and the Warriors just winning.

KNBR is still talking about the Warriors. They have even started talking about the Niners this year.
A lot of people have jumped onto the Raider bandwagon as they will no longer be a Bay Area team soon plus they actually have a great team

if im sabean, im keeping the core together, im looking to add one more bullpen arm, im counting on players like pence, crawford, and belt to not be this bad again and im counting on posey to continue to play well

i have two more seasons with this group of players before i make any real decisions about what to do

Dodgers are a good team but they still might be playing a WC game this year. Theyre hot right now but they've been having good regular seasons for a while now

just the past 5 years or so. ill go to my grave saying the dodgers win in 2013 if hanley doesnt get hit in the ribs in game 1 of the NLCS and is out/playing hurt the rest of the way

but this is really the first year that you see the insane depth and you look at how well the players in the minor league systems are developing and then you look at the actual major league roster with its infusion of great players in their primes and young stars breaking out.

normally i would be all over wanting to have that giants run, but i really dont think i would over what the dodgers are looking at

well i would see what i can get for cueto right now since he will most likely opt out. his current season has really hurt his trade value but i would test the waters

I am sure a team like the Yankees could use him right now

Cueto for Aaron Judge
He is a Stockton boy and all

This was tweeted this morning by Rosenthal so not exactly fresh off the presses, but I found it funny enough to bump this

quote:

"Some with the Giants muse that the team even misses Angel Pagan, who created an odd sort of unity because most of the players disliked him"

It is hard to believe they are this bad. Didn't the 2007 Mets have a big collapse they never recovered from?
