Fwiw, I'm out here in San Diego (unrelated to the game) and it was FULL of Patriots fans.

I was just coming here to ask about that. Are all the mics in the pats section or something? I clearly heard a defense chant when Pats were on defense.

Probably same reason the Tampa Bay Rays never had a home game. Rich people from big cities like New York and Boston retire in places like San Diego.
