The way they cover is the same way they beat the Bucs. Control the ball with long, clock eating drives.

The lions have beat teams by 8.5 or more 8 times this season. Of those 8 teams they covered that big of a spread only 2 were playoff teams (Vikings and Packers).

One of the two teams to beat the Lions is Tampa Bay, the team Washington just beat.

It’s a large spread to cover coming off a bye.
