Team names like the Biloxi Shuckers, Akron Rubber Ducks, Richmond Flying Squirrels, Hartford Yard Goats, etc are all off the wall but have local flavor. We get that. But these 7 names blow balls.

Minor league names have a history of being quirky, sure, but they at least aren't completely ridiculous like Baby Cakes.

Night Owls sound like a typical MiLB franchise. Dont hate it. Not much connection though.

Yeah, I bought a couple of hats from them in the past. I like the t-shirt designs and their Pelicans jerseys look so awesome...but too pricey ($195) and probably hot as frick seeing as how they're wool.
