My buddy says Villanova and Alabama have equal talent in men’s basketball

I say “no way”

Who is right?

Villanova is more talented, deeper, and better coached

No shot.

Alabama has Sexton, that’s basically it.

Villanova's 6-10 probably beat Alabama 8/10 times in a game. Need any more?

Nova has a guy thats going to be a lottery pick, and another guy that will probably be a first rounder this season. Plus, they also have a freshman that will probably be another first rounder next year.

Thats not even counting the rest of their role players.

Nova is deep. Wright knows how to recruit.

If they have equal talent, they sure didn't show it all year.

But seriously, a lot of schools have "equal" talent to Villanova. It's just their players are on a mission right now and look invincible.

Nova has their kids stay on campus all 4 years (or however long they're there).

Nova is simply a different school, and for basketball, in a league of their own.

That said, I'd say yeah, Bama is pretty damn talented. Avery just has yet to turn that into anything much. I say much because it's waaaaay better than what it was for too damn long.

frick Alabama

Id venture to say that Nova will be preseason #1 next year, even after losing Bridges and Brunson.

4 guys back that average over 10 points a game and over 20 mins a game, a top 50 player from the 17 class that averages less than 10 mins a game because of depth, and a 5* point guard and two more top 50 players coming in next year.

People were getting ahead of themselves saying duke was more talented than Nova. Bama isn’t even close.

LOL at everybody who thinks that just because a team wins that they are more talented. By this logic I guess Troy is more talented than LSU in football. Nova is prolly more talented than Bama but it's not as big a gap as some think. Coaching and having the right pieces make a great team.
