Some of the non-revenue sports rotate where the championship will be year-to-year. One of the posters on the Rant also said Southaven has put in a bid for the women's basketball tournament. This would be a good draw given the number of Miss State and UT fans nearby.

the legislature could most likely change it if they wanted to. Voting on the state flag is not some fundamental tenant of democracy.

All of the money sport championships are already set in longtime host cities with no talk of moving them. Mississippi should tell the SEC to kick rocks unless they want to move the SEC baseball or basketball tournament to Biloxi.
