Hate to see DSP waived as he was an absolute playoff warrior for us last year. DSP cleared so Hershey time. Got lucky. Hope he’s ready for the playoff run.
Caps just got Hagelin which could be huge if he can find his form again. 3rd and conditional 6th rounder, Kings retain 50% salary.

Quite a bit of snow fell on The Strip last night. Very little stuck there but some areas of the valley got a good bit of accumulation. Still a trace falling this morning.
Not the result that I wanted but it was a great game. Both NBCSN last night were fun to watch.

I really wish the Preds would get him though. He is exactly what we need and I would much rather give up assets (and would glady give more) for Stone than Duchene.

After the move of DSP, I was expecting a big move, possible sending Burakovsky off. Hagelin is a tremendous letdown for a move, but he's nice back of the roster player, though nothing special. He's better than the fourth liners we got.
But I do like that the Penguins will pay him $250,000 this season to play for the Caps.

Silvferberg got a 5 year extension, there's one name off the board, although it wasnt too likely he would be shipped.
