With the Senators clinching the worst record in hockey, now might be a good time to say that Matt Duschene might be the best trade by The Avalanche since Eric Lindros. Even if they don’t get Jack Hughes in the draft and have to “ settle “ for Kaapo . And then with Cale Makar coming in- Avs will be stacked again.

CBJ are bringing a 19 year old Frenchman that has played in just 7 AHL (NOT NHL) games this season to make his NHL debut tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden in a near must win situation. He played most of the past two years in the Finnish league.
tCBJ needs 2 points in it's final two game to assuredly qualify for the playoffs. It needs at least 3 points to be in contention for WC1 (down 3 points to Carolina, but have a game in hand).
Pretty ballsy move both on the ice and for the locker room.

good luck. F our GM. we shoulda been tanking for high draft picks and trading vets for picks and prospects. the moron running my team is more worried about how he looks than admitting he has been a failure the last 6 years thus him not committing to a real rebuild. now the jackass has us in NHL hell. no tank and no real contender. Bastard needs to be fired like alleva at LSU.
