He’s a billionaire. Somehow he’ll survive. What is wrong with being a fan of other teams in the league anyway? This man owns 1/32 of the league. You can only buy whatever teams are up for sale. All the owners have the same goal: money. They share revenue. League does well they all profit

I suspect Tom Brady is a big Patriots fan while owning part of the Raiders.

The fans should celebrate this as it's very inclusive of him.

He might be a fan of the steelers, but I'm assuming he is an even bigger fan of money and success, so who cares?

He reminds me of an Indian pt I had. I walked into his hospital room, he and his buddy are watching the Saints game and the Saints made some stupid mistake to where he responds, in his Indian accent, "Oh no, the Saints have done a terrible thing"...

It was so weird to watching these two Indian guys, who were diehard Saints fans, watching a game...

Especially considering Super Bowl XL and how it unfolded.

Seems pretty benign it’s just sports fandom compared to owning a multi billion dollar investment.

It won’t make him loved and it’s embarrassing PR instinct but there are no repercussions to saying it. Same with him being a former Niners minority owner not mattering. He’s in his 70s with frick you frick you money and doesn’t give a frick. Jokes on us

He’s just another majority shareholder of a business that doesn’t use their products/services. NFL franchises aren’t special in this regard, this is common

With the exception of the few teams actively trying to sell you likely couldn’t get the owner of your favorite team to sell without overpaying by billions…and plenty still wouldn’t sell. Doesn’t mean you should pass on an investment opportunity that has historically printed money

The vast majority of the players, coaches, trainers, scouts, etc. in the league grew up fans of teams other than the ones they eventually end up working for. Just the nature of the industry. No one doubts Sean McVay's vested interest in the success of the Rams just because he grew up rooting for the 49ers. People's allegiances change real fricking quick when their money is on the felt.
