Don't think those Bulls saw anything close to Golden State.

Pretty much. You youngsters amuse me.

Not even close to a team that's spread the floor like that, nor that type of range. I don't really see why that's funny. Maybe they adjust and win a 7 game series, but no one came close to playing a style like the current Warriors ever.

To end fair to the Jordan fanboys, MJ's look alone did go for 22 and 10 that one time

We have seen GS get absolutely obliterated on the boards by teams like OKC and Utah, WTF do you think Rodman would do?

MJ would abuse GS. The bulls physicality on defense would make GS quit. MJ would average 40 a night. Rodman would maul draymond and Scottie would smother Curry. The Bulls would win by at least 15 each game and sweep.

The fans of this city enable it to a certain extent because they view these guys as untouchable. Try bringing up Walter Payton's mistresses and pouting after the Super Bowl. Or Jordan's gambling and punching out Kerr in practice. Or Ditka's hypocrisy and overall shittiness. There are some Bill Swerski superfans that will fight you for slandering their names.

This more true than many on here probably realize. It's not as bad here on the Northside because there are so many in this area who aren't from here, but get out into the suburbs or on the Westside and Southside, and they will get involved physically if you say stuff like that.

Probably get rebounds and not much else. The 90s is the most overrated period in basketball history coming from someone that grew up watching 90s basketball. Nostalgia has taken over common sense.

Check Pippen for CTE.

Anybody ask him how the Sonics were able to take them to six?

Yes the mid-late 90's is overrated its the second weakest period in NBA history the worst is the 2010s. Rodman would abuse them and GS wouldn't ever be able to get their transition game going

Sonics 64–18 (.780) - franchise best record,...THAT's top 10 in NBA history!!!! That decade...

They were rolling..

Right now the Spurs are 64–12 (.842) and so many are saying they are better than the Warriors.

Shawn Kemp
Defensive Player of the Year Gary Payton

Defeated the Sacramento Kings in the first round, Swept the reigning champions Houston Rockets

Went down 0-3 to the Bulls but clawed out 2 victories, not unheard of.

How is the Sonics taking the Bulls to 6 a slight on the Bulls???

Sonics would have been the talk of the NBA season if not for the Bulls historic run. Sonics had a top 5 statistical season in NBA history.

Scottie needs to shut up. To brag about a hypothetical that can't happen is silly, especially when you say you'd consistently hold Curry under 20. Just say, "It would be a great series," and move along.

That would be the tactful way to handle it, but these guys are in love with themselves. It's hard for them to fathom a world where they aren't the center of it. Really that's what his quotes are about.

The Sonic matchup better with the Bulls because of Kemp's inside scoring something GS of course has none of.

Irrelevant.

It isn't...the point is they weren't able to sweep their own opponent...no reason to think they would somehow do it to a better one.

No clue. I remember people legitimately believing the Bulls would have trouble winning that series.

I suspect there are more than a few on this board who dismiss stuff like this because they think we're just old and nostalgia is influencing our opinions.

A good, but unspectacular Sonics team took them to 6.

That Sonics team was better than good. Kemp was great and Payton was great. That had a lot of excellent roll players also and a great coach.

It's so amusing that guys think there were a whole bunch of teams in the 90s better than this Golden State team.

Tell me who on the Warriors is going to guard MJ?

No one.

Who is going to guard Pippen? Green? There goes Green's rebounding.

Pippen limits Curry to 20 and MJ shits all over Klay.

Bulls in 4.
