JAY MOHR SPORTS, On Fox sports radio.

I think it played out more or less how they said it on the show today. But I think the deciding factor in Scott taking the job was Ryen probably telling him he wasn't going to come back once his contract was up. If Ryen felt like he would for sure be back I don't think SVP would have taken that job. As he said, he would do radio forever.

Same. I would add the Lowe Post but they were pretty much the only non-sporting event on ESPN I consumed anymore.

This really sucks.

i just dont see why they think this is gonna draw in a ton of viewers to a midnight sportscenter.

the radio show had the potential to become huge because tons of people at work listen to them. there just isn't that late night i've gotta stay up to see this vibe in television anymore

Up in the air:
Dave Jacoby

How do these buffoons get ratings? I try not to rail on ESPN on here because it's germans, but their schtick is not just played out, it's fricking unlistenable.

I think it had more to do with Russillo. Van Pelt said he would've done the show forever and said no to the SC proposal multiple times. He definitely didn't want to leave but Russillo seemed like he felt a little unappreciated in his role. They had such a great thing going though and l think he may regret this later on.

So both are leaving?

the natural progression seems like russilo should now be the main dude... just like SVP when he took the main spot when mike turico moved on.

Oh well

russillo's contract is ending soon i think. they will probably try to keep him but may be priced out by another network trying to steal market share

As Scott alluded to in the one big thing, he hopes Ryen keeps the show so he can come on Fridays and drop winners. Fridays during the fall they will truly be missed... Mondays for that matter too.
