Looking at Sportrac, he's a UFA next year? So this is basically a Hendrickson situation?

Washington’s going to have an explosive offense with one of the best young QBs in the NFL and an offensive mind calling plays.

Pittsburgh is going to be……Pittsburgh lol. With a dinosaur as a QB.

I’m great with Terry getting 2/30 or 3/90, maaaybe match DK’s terms for 2 to 3 years but anything above him is high. He isn’t better than Lamb. Sure as hell isn’t close to Chase or Jefferson.

This all stems from DK being way overpaid anyway.

But we all know that isn't how the NFL works. If you are top 10ish at your position you will be paid like the overall #1 guy until that guy's contract is up for renegotiation

Top 5 paid players are Dak, Allen, Burrow, Love and Lawrence. I think you could make a damn good argument only 2 of them are top 5 QBs

No, you want to put yourself in a position where you are paid what you think you're worth, not what the market says you're worth.

Well, he’s not worth what Jamarr, JJ, or CeeDee are worth. To be honest, I’m not sure if he is necessarily worth what DK is worth.

These people and their agents are clowns.

He’s a good player but giving Top 5 money to a receiver that has never broken 1200 yards is not going to be a move championship teams make

He’s played his whole career with the likes of Sam Howell, Taylor Heineke, and the ghost of Alex Smith

And? Malik Nabers got 1200 yards last year playing with Da bell Jones, Tim Boyle, and Tommy Cutlets

great point

And Terry would have a lot more leverage if he wasn’t nearing old as dirt territory in NFL terms. If Terry were 27 like DK, he would’ve been inked already.

This list is insane to me. Burrow and Allen I get, but the others? Sheesh.

Exactly. Sounds like he wants top WR money. Washington would be stupid to pay him that. He's definitely a really good player, but JD made most of those plays for him by making some insane throws in tight windows last year.

That’s how the league works. All they need to do is front load the deal while Daniels in on a rookie deal.

On the one hand, my immediate thought is to not pay him that kind of money as he isn't in the same tier as the others.

On the other hand, the Commanders find themselves in the highly coveted position of having your franchise QB on a rookie contract. The window to win is now before you have to pay JD5.

If the owners would get together and grow a pair the league would be better off. Players want to sit out, let them sit out and not get paid. You don’t play you lose that year and the contract is still the same. Players are employees on a contract and I guarantee the owners stand firm those players would get in line.
