Didn’t BLM burn down the college football hall of fame during their riots around CNN last summer.
Looks like the college football hall of fame took that BLM bukkake with open faces.

Katie Hnida and Ashley Martin just forgotten I guess. They actually played multiple seasons on a team. But whatever.

You would be just as mad if they were in the cfb HoF so get out of here with that disingenuous bs.
I haven’t been in a couple years, but I think there is also some display for Rudy? And Fuller made more of an impact than him.
The cfb HoF is more like museum than Hall of Fame, and by that metric she absolutely should be there.
Bunch of snowflakes in this thread

Please tell us how a 100% orchestrated situation that makes s complete mockery of the sport and nobody with a brain recognizes as legitimate is more impactful than the subject of a movie that brought unprecedented attention to the sport and plays a large part in one school’s national fan base.

Rudy was a feel good story about a player who wasn’t talented enough to play and committed a penalty in his famous moment. If he was a woman, this entire board would be screaming about virtue signaling and PR stunts.
Fuller actually scored 2 points. And even if there was another kicker in the roster, that doesn’t detract from the history - plenty of teams already have short and long range kickers and no one bats an eye.
Also, if your argument is that Rudy brought attention to football, what do you think Fuller did? You can’t call it a PR stunt and then act like it didn’t bring positive PR.
Rudy was in no way legitimately the best player in that situation. It was an orchestrated situation, and that’s ok. What’s not ok is one standard for a man and another for a woman

Which is still more than Sarah Fuller did. She didn't earn her place. It was done purely for publicity.
Let me know when someone makes the Sarah Fuller movie.

He. Didn’t. Earn. His. Place. No one in the movie says that Rudy is the best player. They just wanted to give him a feel good moment. At least Fuller’s call up was based on the team needing a kicker.
Rudy was made 18 years after the event. Entirely possible that we get a Disney movie about this before 2038. But even if we don’t, that’s more of an indictment of our misogyny than proof that the moment didn’t matter

And yet earned his spot on the field by overcoming adversity and practicing hard.

Rudy earned his way onto the field. Sarah Fuller was invited to make a political statement. Rudy also didn't make national headlines when he played and no one knew who he was until the movie came out 20 years later.

Yes he did. He was at practice busting his arse.
You're fricking clueless.

why didn't she kick the 39yarder again?

You think showing up to practice means he earned a spot in the game? So every walk on that works for 4 years should get to play? I’m fine with that if so, but the fact is that not every walk in does get to play. And the fact that he did was just as much PR stunt if not more

More than anything Fuller did. We all see you trying to move the goalposts.

Can't sell those stories in 2020 so the media has to erase our memory and make us believe it's never happened before. Just like claiming Buttigieg is the first openly gay cabinet member even though Rick Grinnell clearly held that position before him.
