For women, though, it is much worse than annoying. It is patronizing, degrading, and insulting. Are women really so unimpressive and bereft of achievement that we have to treat them like we would a small child who draws a bunch of scribbles on a sheet of construction paper and claims that it’s a picture of a tree?

This right here. I'd love if my daughter had the opportunity to be an actual kicker for an actual football team. But she would need to have the actual skill to go along with that title for it to mean anything.

This was a fricking joke, and frankly should be embarrassing to just about everyone involved.

Most average guys between ages 15 and 45 with even a hint of athletic ability can kick a soccer ball 40-45 yards. Its not impressive.

I would disagree unless you count the rollout. I've seen many hilarious attempts to kick a soccer ball by people I would say qualify as having a hint of athletic ability.

Maybe most could air it out 30 yards at least once in ten tries.

He said what most former athletes would and wanted to say, but don't have the nuts 2 say it.

They will try to cancel him for this, he went for the kill shot with that paragraph on her speech.

So does this broad want us to treat her just like any other male player or not?

Plenty of Male NFL level kickers out there can kick 60yd fg's that are held on a tee, with no rush threatening them. But when the pads and lights are on, and there is a rush coming. They can't kick a 30 yarder

What NFL level kicker can't make a 30 yard FG????

I'm assuming that post was made in jest, because it's comically absurd. Kinda shocked I missed it when it was made.

Terrible NFL kickers make those at a 96ish% clip. This girl would have to really blast one to get close.

It was...

It inspired Vandy to fire their coach. If this happened I applaud Vandy for doing something right.

Supposedly she tried to give a player the low five, and he went right by her. LOL if true.

From ABC: With Vanderbilt trailing 21-0 at halftime, Fuller decided she wanted to address the team. “If I’m going to be honest, I was a little pissed off at how quiet everybody was on the sideline,” she said. “We made a first down, and I was the only one cheering and I was like — what the heck? What’s going on? And I tried to get them pumped up.” She said she compared it to Vanderbilt soccer’s SEC tournament-winning run, when the team was “cheering the entire time.” “I just went in there and I said exactly what I was thinking. I was like, ‘We need to be cheering each other on. This is how you win games. This is how you get better is by calling each other out for stuff, and I’m going to call you guys out. We need to be supporting one another. We need to be lifting each other up. That’s what a team’s about,'” Fuller said. “I think this team has struggled, and that’s been part of it. “We really just need to build that team camaraderie where they can all lean on one another. It was an adjustment going from that team mentality where — hey, we’re all here supporting one another — and I just wanted to bring that to this team.”

The guy holding the ball should have let it go before she got to it. What a condescending bitch.

Here’s my question, has she been called “brave” for her kickoff? And do words even have meaning anymore?
