Still another mark against them in the Ugly PR war.
Even if proven untrue, people will likely remember it and not that it was a bogus report.
so one unnamed source spouts off shite about 8 years ago conveniently after a huge scandal...I could honestly give two fricks...put your damn name on it if you really believe it...if not frick off

The Saints have already issued a statement and are pursuing legal action against those making allegations.
That is what you are supposed to do, even if you are lying.

They have to say that, or something along those lines.

Wouldnt surprise me if this was true, however buried in the ESPN article:
quote:Sweet! Lets run with it anyway!
"Outside the Lines" could not determine for certain whether Loomis ever made use of the electronic setup.

They can't prove shite, just like they couldn't prove "Bountygate"

Yeah, except they did nothing of the sort during Bountygate.
I seriously doubt this bullshite. The source is one person and that is extremely sketchy to me.

If this turns out to be BS, I hope the Saints go after ESPN. Because frick ESPN, that's why.

I just thought the point of journalism was you get a source that says this, you investigate, interview a bunch of others and try and find proof before you release your "story"
I just dont understand how one person who wont even give his name saying something happened 8+ years ago is "Breaking News" deserving of 30 minutes of airtime on ESPN

As I posted on the Saints Board:
If you want to be logical, apply Occam's Razor. Which scenario is more likely, given the information that we have at hand?
Furthermore, Loomis would have to be able to decipher every other team's jargon AND communicate that mix of jargon down to the field in under 30 seconds. Oh, and the coaching staff would have to make the correct decisions based on that information.
Logically speaking, if it's not even clear that he used the system, and if it's BLATANTLY clear that the team didn't gain an advantage by using it, it's pretty safe to assume that it was not used. In fact, the most logical conclusion is that such a system was not utilized by the Saints.

this shite is all irrelevant as hell. if the accusations are true, then it doesnt matter how it was used or anything, they cheated and should be fricked.
i dont believe it's true as of now and agree with most of the posts in this thread about sources being gay and espn being stupid and all that, though.

If this ends up being BS I hope the aints go after ESPN hard.

I start a thread on breaking, huge NFL news with nothing biased about it, and yet I'm an "idiotic poster" and "top ten worst poster." Don't understand the butt hurt, but OK.
