Life update. Having successfully settled my case with ESPN/Disney, I have decided to leave so I can exercise my first amendment rights more freely. I am grateful for so many wonderful experiences over the past 16 years and am excited for my next chapter!
I have no idea who Sage Steele is, but if a professional journalist doesn't know to capitalize proper nouns, they should be fired.
what am i missing?

I don't think she is necessarily some hardcore "MAGA person". She just someone who was is capable of having her own independent thoughts on issues and unwilling to mindlessly go along with the leftist cause/mantra du jour.
Unfortunately for her, leftist do not tolerate dissention in their ranks. Particularly from one of their preferred "victims", a black woman. She had the audacity to express skepticism of of the covid vaccine AND question why Barack Obama only considered himself to be "black" when he was the child of mixed-raced parents...just like her. Or, in short, she was a media figure who suffered from an ailment called "independent thought"

wonder how much ESPN gave her to go away. I also wonder what she looks like naked.
To borrow from Norm Macdonald, I would like to lie on top of that lady.

People who have their own thoughts would never look like they vote along party lines. That's for sheep. So I give her a lot of credit for being independent in what's important to her.
I liked her comments on how women present themselves at work with their dress.
“So when you dress like that, I'm not saying you deserve the gross comments, but you know what you're doing when you're putting that outfit on, too,” Steele said. “Like, women are smart, so don't play coy and put it all on the guys.”
I have no idea where she was going with Obama and the fact that he declared himself a black man on his census. Seemed like a lot to do about nothing.
The idea she was forced into vaccination at ESPN was interesting. But some public personalities didn't get it and were let go.

"First Amendment" is a proper noun.

He’s probably got the biggest conservative radio show in the country now. More people listen to him now than ever.

It seems like Clay is in full time meltdown mode on twitter 24/7. I really used to enjoy him on the fox gambling show.
It seems like he doesn't even care about sports anymore, only politics.

So, she sued them for discrimination, got paid probably 7+ figures in a settlement.
But while the case was ongoing, she knew she wouldn't and couldn't be fired because it would just make her case stronger, and then once she got the check, she told them to frick off.

She was terrible anyway. I don’t remember what the controversy around her was, but good riddance.

So…. Don’t address YOUR actions and ways that led to my comment, only address my comment?
Seems about right from you

I think that's right. And the ESPN black mafia (which somehow includes the previously gorgeous but now embittered Molly Q. these days, though in her defense she is turning black faster than you can say Bruno Mars lol) ... anyway, the black mafia was not going to catch Sage's back about the Covid vax comments bc (1) she's a Trumpster, and (2) she's been married to a white dude for like twenty years with several kids, you know, acting white, a felony from which not even Clarence Thomas and Tim Scott can escape much less Sage Steele.

Les what did you do to make this snowflake melt?
I said Anthony Richardson had a bad throwing motion, myself. No idea what they triggered him so much.
