Ruffian was just a high profile death. Race horses break legs and are put down a lot in lower level races. That's why I don't like the sport. The horses are bred to have large muscles and thin legs for speed. It's an accident waiting to happen.

BTW, I new a girl once who barrel raced. I asked, "What's the key to winning a championship?"
Her: "When I win it's because I'm racing really well. When I lose it's because the horse fricked up."

Don't remember it. If it was a church, it had to be either St. Benilde or St. Christopher. I was a Miley/St. Mary Magdalen alum.

Because they lost and I like the Pats. He's a Parcells disciple and I like them both. Dont know if I would've gone for it, but I understand why he did. His D was getting shredded.
