he NEVER WAS a good QB

all he did was not go through his reads as he should, bail out of the pocket too soon without even having pressure on him and then run around making shite up and hoping a receiver gets open while he is running around

in most cases the receiver he throws to, was wide open at the time before JM broke out of the pocket for no reason and started improvising.

he made some great plays improvising, but only because he was the cause of the play not being completed as called and there was no defensive pressure, he just gets scared and starts running around.

before he was even drafted i called it that he was just another danny wuerful who had more hype then talent and would be a mistake for any team stupid enough to sign him

The article seems to indicate that he was actively pursuing playing opportunities elsewhere. My guess is that Montreal wasn’t OK with that.

Yea it’s nowhere near a billion but still a nice chunk of change.

If it were a billion net worth, Texas would’ve offered him as a QB or head coach or whatever he wanted to be offered as

Lots of info on the family net worth here.

They are certainly wealthy but nowhere near a billion dollars or even nine figures. Also you have to consider how many children grandchildren there are.

I am sure Manziel could never work another day in his life if he was a Money board early retirement type. But I’m skeptical that his inheritance/trust fund could finance 25 years of his current lifestyle.

An assessment from an organizational hired domestic violence expert told them that? Because that’s what being reported. I have no fricking clue what that means though

Based on the comments from the GM, sounds like Manziel fricked something up but they explored options to keep Manziel in the league, and then Manziel said he would rather not

Ready to buy my Dallas XFL Manziel jersey

In order to do that, wouldn't the XFL have to rescind their policy about not signing players with criminal records?

If that was the case, they'd say as much. They went out of the way to respect his privacy.

I don’t know. It’s hard to say, “he’s trying to play in another league so we’re cutting him lose” without sounding like a jilted ex.

It could be the case that “respecting his privacy” has more to do with not announcing to the world that Manziel would rather play in an upstart league in the US than an established Canadian one.

But, this is JFF we’re talking about so I’ll always acknowledge the possibility that he simply couldn’t stay clean.

I could deffinitly see Vince going to him and saying “we’re gonna pay you a frick ton of money to be the face of the league and you’ll be back in Texas under stoops”

But the league doesn’t start for another year so it doesn’t make too much sense unless they want to announce it for the press
