I applauded Mahan after 17, cause he clinched at least a half, and then he goes and does that. Wow.

I think we have to wait until socialism kills their economies and wealthy class and maintaining golf courses with $40 per hour laborers shuts them all down. Immigrants take over and don't care about golf. So like... Another 2 or 3 generations?

Euro has gotten a ton of breaks today. Both Rose and Kaymer miss a gorge bush by about 3 feet, and make birdies. Pat Reed has a lost ball in what looks like plain sight. Mahan and Stenson hit balls about 3 yards apart from 220 yards out. Stensons sits up for a perfect chip, and Mahan's apparently left him with only hoping to get within 12 feet of the hole.

Made a 6 on 9 and 18. That will cost you a match in a Ryder Cup.

Don't leave out Sergio's tee shot on 8 where he miraculously got a flat lie after hitting the ball 50 yards right off the tee.

Mahan sounds pathetic in this interview.

Lot of damage control being done in Mahan's favor.

But he is a captain's pick who played in 4 matches and won 1.5 points. Meanwhile Phil gets benched all of Saturday.

Was the 2008 team better on paper? I'm guessing not, so why don't we replicate what zinger did?

Watson laid a turd with his picks and his lineups Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon.

I'm sure the patrons had nothing to do with that.

And Keegan got benched which is brutal for him. He's a guy that plays off fuel and passion. Benching him for an entire day where he doesn't get to give any of that is not good for his game. Mahan's shot definitely wasn't easy, but why go with the flop off the downhill lie. That's such a low percentage shot.

Euro team has a ton of Cup experience on it, so it's somewhat cyclical. US needs some young guys who have Reed's fire. Watson didn't help much with his picks...
